THIS JUST IN* WiiU is an underpowered, obsolete system that top developers laugh at, with a gimmicky control set and hardware features, uninspired 1st party rehashes, horrible 3rd party shovelware, and about to be overshadowed by Sony and MS next gen consoles with much stronger lineups of games.
A blockbuster isin't going to do much more than simply keep them afloat at this point.
There is nothing wrong with more varied and diverse kinds of games and stories as gaming becomes a more mainstream form of entertainment but they don't have to come at the expense of the types of games that built this industry, the types games that I grew up playing, and that I still love playing when I find them. And those games are built on solid gameplay, pure and simple. If they have a mature and well crafted story it's just a bonus.
Gamers of the future may get all giddy for the next "Interactive Story" but I will still be getting excited for the next Dark Souls or XCOM.
