Has a Nintendo console ever launched with both a new Mario and Zelda game?

I'm wondering if it's wishful thinking to have both at launch.

Lol.. There's no way I could even concentrate on playing a game if I knew a massive meteor was about to hit the earth.

I noticed these types of topics come up every so often. But with the question worded differently. "If you were locked in a small dark room for all eternity and had one game to play what it it be?" "If you were stranded on an island" etc. but never about the possible end of the earth.

I just hope they don't hold back the NX version.

Since NX should have a lot more power than Wii U, It would be nice to see Zelda NX have better graphics, a higher frame rate, and a higher resolution than Zelda U.

It would make buying an NX at launch seem more worth it for Zelda alone if that's the case.

I think you're trying to convince yourself more than anyone else. As you can see, most people in here don't agree with you and think you're making a fool of yourself. I know you're probably salty about Xbone barely having any exclusives left. So if you can convince yourself that PS4/NEO is also multi plat then perhaps it will help you sleep better at night. For you to continue to put this much effort into reaching and grasping at straws is just sad.

If you have a good gaming PC then I'm sure it's easy to wait.

If not, I'd imagine people would be bored out of their minds waiting for the past 3 years with only their last gen consoles to keep them entertained. Last gen consoles are pretty much dead.
