@Sanligo Well they've kind of placed it perfectly between the events of Lord of the rings and the Hobbit. So that it doesn't raise too many questions about plausibility.

@pixipel But people have been eating the same crap on crackers for years. They can't get enough of it.

@evilace_stealth @acrashingwave Yup, I watched the E3 demo too and clearly remember them playing the game without all that screen clutter and than discussing how playing it this way will be optional.

@theteaface Definitely! The "Nemesis System" is the only thing truly next gen about this game and is probably the biggest fun factor.

Last gen consoles will only have a small slice of what "Nemesis" has to offer.

@CaptainSofa There is a new chrome engine for Dying Light and a new Unreal engine as well. Neither of these games are using old engines.

Sure the graphics look a little bit more colorful than DL but i'll take gameplay over looks any day.

@CharlesBurns @59Hertz In some ways the consoles end up costing more with the 70$ game discs and 8-15$ subscriptions. I mean of course its the same with AAA games on PC

But dang dat STEAM, i got like 12 games in the past 3 months for only 60$ it was like 300$ value not on sale.

Really wish they had sum deals like that on Xbox, don't know about Playstation = / .

@CharlesBurns I would say the argument of "Everyone keeps saying you can spend less on a PC and out perform a console" was only valid a year ago.

Today it would be very difficult to get a PC more powerful for cheaper. At most it would be at an equal value now.

Also Star Citizen definitely looks like it would need a $2000 rig to play at maximum. But that's the glorious part of PC gaming. You don't need an expensive PC to play Star Citizen, a $500(bargain) one will do just fine. Being able to enhance the graphics and performance over time is just a bonus not a necessity.

Yeah I miss the good ole days of magazine demos too, but in some ways I'm happy with the route small publishers have taken now.

Having betas and early access ultimately makes the game better, its nice to have a say and contribute what goes into a game too.

@shingui5 @skipper847 First off he didn't compare, he simply stated the only kickstarted games worth paying for are the ones that give something back. Most early access games come from kickstarter as well.

Kickstarter is a charity for games, Greenlight is a survey to see which games are even worth funding. Now yes they are two very different programs but the purpose is the same. They both want to get they're games attention and thus acquire funding to complete said games. Both have there ups and downs but they both have the same overall goal therefore they "are" comparable.

I bet Jaxx is full on cyborg now, with all that's happened with the time-line. But I'm most curious to see what happened with Liu Kang, is he a zombie again?
