@cip_raziel: Funny you should mention that, I actually saw a boxer for sale from a wanderer named Gene for 250 caps. I tried to purchase him but the owner needed a charisma check before he'd trust me with the dog. (Had Dogmeat with me too it made just a bit of extra dialogue)

I haven't much use for caps in this Fallout, I can just scavenge and create my own ultimate gear now thanks to the new crafting system. I used to save caps for mods like suppressors now I just need a perk to craft them which eliminates my need for vendors. Not to mention junk too that used to be only for vendors, now it's just as valuable as bullets.

However I noticed you can buy shipments of components from other settlements like fiberglass, steel, wood, etc. If I were ever going to use this exploit it'd probably be to deck out every settlement possible it's fullest. But I also know you can employ your own vendors with a charisma perk to produce caps for you so that'll probably be a more lucrative way of gaining caps.

Resources are kind of in short supply once you've scrapped everything nearby though I can only afford to maintain the first area (Sanctuary) to about half of it's potential. It'd be nice to have a little extra to start renovating another settlement earlier than later, But that's just me though.

As for everyone else that just wants to spit venom about cheating or exploits I'll never understand why you'd waste your time on this article when you could clearly be playing Fallout 4 right now without any of this knowledge.

@pizzel118: That's a good point, In all the years of COD they've never updated any of those things.

That makes it painfully obvious that it's a cash grab, they'd rather work on another game than fix the current one.

@zeldafan195: Dude that's what makes COD different, it's not meant to be slow paced. Being able to forget about to teamwork is actually a stand out feature for most. It means I can play when ever and not worry about getting a party set up before a match. I can have a solo strategy and still play well and I like that about COD, although teamwork never hurts.

Now for a game like Battlefield playing well solo is much more of a challenge, so it's the teamwork that makes the game fun. I love Battlefield just as much any other but I would never wish for COD to become like it, that would defeat the purpose of it's existence.

I have played all the COD's and yes it's become increasingly easier to play solo but I don't see that as a problem. Because when you really look around there aren't many games that many games like Call of Duty anymore, Medal of Honor is long gone.

I just hope when I get around to trying this one that it'll be better than Black Ops 2, the beta was decent but I got my sights on Fallout this month.

@tdiamond15: They're working on randomized worlds right now and that'll be guaranteed to have few kinks to work out. It's understandable why they haven't optimized yet, cause there's still a lot to be implemented.

@Raphy_Turtle: I agree about the pearls, it's hardly an exploit they just shouldn't have gave it 100% of the time they're supposed to be rare after all. I stumbled upon it very early and didn't find out about the easy sell pawn shop until a patch for it came out.

I had made about 20,000 from the pearls and 40,000 from hoarding and selling, at that point I stopped picking everything up to sell. Until I hit around 65,000 that is than it was just all gone, POOF! It just vanished from thin air and I hadn't noticed for quite a while either so by the time I looked at my money it was barely over 5000. At that point it was too late I'd sunk in like 10 hours of quests. So my most recent save with all my money intact was so far behind it wasn't worth reloading.

Sure enough a patch fixing that glitch came out the week after. So a It's good thing you can lie to the tax collector cause I've already paid the consequence and not willing to pay 200% tax of something that just vanished.

Than again I'm not really sure why they'd even have this really, maybe if this was an exploit still available in game that would make it more trollish. But considering this was a day one exploit that many found on their own it's just seems rude to be rubbing this in cheaters faces still.

Maybe if the economy actually worked here people wouldn't worry about finding the most profitable activity.

@tzolynski I'd rather pay for a service that will gradually get better over time. It seemed to work quite well for Xbox.

My biggest peeve is the lack of backwards compatibility, I came from 360 so I haven't had the pleasure of trying out some of the PS3 exclusives. If I could get the free PS3 games on my PS4 than PS+ would be more than worth it.
