As i was reading this review i wondered whether the author was familiar with Yukes work, then i saw he hasn't touched a wrestling game in years. What i wanted to know what was different compared to last year and reasons to buy or not buy this game.
Without wanting to kick in any open doors, i think the essence of this topic lies in the anonimity sitting at home behind a screen provides. The simple fact that people are not face to face lowers the threshold for rudeness. That by itself cannot be battled by any campaign or common sense.
On a personal note, i don't think i owe gaming anything. Gaming owes me 30 years of my life ;).
@tengu7667 @Smoothus Did not know that. I based my opinion only on the video. It saddens me to find out JR is actually sick. It may sound crude but they might have to look for somebody else if this level of incompetence continues.
I'd say the review is spot on. Cerain bugs should not be in a finished product and content in a whole is quite bare bones so i think a 7.0 is justified.
That panel show had the most unproffessional behaviour i've ever seen, How could they let JR get on that stage while he's clearly intoxicated. I feel bad for 2k for having spent money on that abomination of a publicity event.
I'm excited to see what 2k has in store for this franchise.
With all the voice talent and Gsp helping them to tweak the fighting, this game is looking better and better all the time. Even if the game would turn out to be crap, kudos for marketing cuz i'm Psyched for Sleeping Dogs now!
