@boodger: Let me break it down for you. By repeating everything I told you.

What is said in the review is not just the score of the game. Monetisiatio nthat was shadily added to the game right after the reviews deserves to be mentioned.

And indeed the DLC was not thought of right after release, this was planned before and the design philosophy as you put it was taken into account of this. When the difficulty was reviewed it was done by trusting that this was done for the good of the game. Intent is important, gamers might enjoy a challenge if it wis to test them, not so if it is to milk them of money. This might not concern everyone as you said previously, but as i said as you can't seem to understand this does not matter. As long as it might bother a good chunk of players it's revelant. Add to that how the tickets are advertised in game, which is a bother, already told you about it, the fact that you can progress and it would you hours, and then you see the button to do everything you did for 10 bucks cheapening your experience, already told you about it, and so many other things.

The reviews should be updated to reflect this. Because as a matter of thruthfullness, conscience, and fairness this can not be acceptable. Now it's a ticket system to bypass progression, and if this is accepted what next? Do the dev get a pass if it's just a little bit worse each time? Be responsible and demand more from your hobbies.

@boodger: Same or not, it applies and impact gamers' experiences with the game. Granted not all, but it matters not. If a review contained only stuff that impact everyone it would stop at the main menu and not even then, it would stop at the price because that's the only thing that every players should experience as not all launch the game.

@boodger: Well let's see, you now have in game notifications trying to push you to buy the tickets.

If they are selling tickets they have to be interesting so that people buy them, which means farming times took this into account and was likely made, from the get go or not, longer than it should.

It's also demeaning of your time on the game, gaming is a lot about challenge, it's not a movie, what you accomplish matters. And getting an awesome leveled up weapon doesn't seem as interesting when you could just have thrown of few dollars to the begging publishers to do it instantly.

@boodger: Changing reviews does not mean necessarily changing the score. The review is more than a number.

But the info that progress can be bought should at the very least be included. But yes bad practices, like pay to win in a game with a price tag should impact the score.

Adding it after reviews,

That's underhanded and dirty. Should be illegal and reviews should be updated.

Life time licenses, or as they used to be called, licenses a few years back.

Sony is really salty with this. Ironic since Sony has been dealing in all the stuff they accuse MS of.

Well I have no bone either way, so what happens happens here, but I hate double standards.
