@Bhemont: Wanting one little similarity doesn't mean someone wants the game to be like another one. Otherwise, Dark Souls could be compared to games like Zelda because the protagonists both use swords.

That would make me feel better about buying the console version if the PC version ends up looking how it was originally intended. I'm sure they'd do it if they fixed up the PC version, I just don't know if it's actually possible.
Yesterday, after doing the first few mandatory missions, a pop up said Id recieve messages on my phone about new jobs. Then my character was automatically deleted so I made a new one. The last mission I did was the robbery, nothing happened after that. There has been no pop up and Im not getting any messages for jobs. There are still plenty of things on the map but Im worried that if I continue, I will never be able to experiecne the game properly. Am I going to have to wait for several hours as its launching session again?
Did you read the whole article? Beacuse why would you be disappointed after reading this:
"We could 'check the box' and shoehorn multiplayer in sooner than that, but it wouldn't be a great experience, and certainly not one we'd be proud of. It's not simply a matter of adding the technology, but also redesigning core game systems to support multiple players, and then adding new content designed for people to play together. It's easy to imagine how all that would come together - as many have said, the game is practically begging for it - but retrofitting the game to add that experience would take the rest of this year, and well into the next. Worse, it would preclude our ability to offer any other kind of support for the game, including Title Updates and DLC."
Those are perfectly good reasons not to add it.
And they know we want it, so they'll put into the next game for sure.
I disagree with survivors taking vehicles to get supplies as they could dmg and wreck them and there is a finite supply of vehicles. I also disagree with being able to put rucksacks into the back of a truck as that would make gathering supplies WAY to easy.stan_boydThen they can just make less supplies spawn throughout the world. But the truck thing is something the game should have. Because why would you take a truck on a supply run and NOT put stuff in it? I'm sure they could implement it in a fair way that doesn't make it too easy. And they could make you able to choose which vehicles you do and don't want NPCs to drive. And you'd have to need influence for that.
Gamespot's review says they have a one-note personality and are rarely sympathetic. That sounds disappointing but is it just that persons opinion, or is it closer to fact? I've raed other reviews, most haven't mentioned that either way but one did say the exact opposite of the Gamespot review. So I'm just wondering which one it is, or at least what most people think about it.
