I really liked the G1 "modernized" look they did in the first two Cybertron games. It's a shame they're going to merge this with the Bayverse but, honestly, it shouldn't really be a surprise.

I don't think this would suck as much if they had used the Bayverse models from the beginning. Hopefully the game itself is still good. Will keep any judgements until I at least get to read some reviews when it's released.

Everybody talks about all this milking but, in all honesty, why is everyone acting like it's such a surprise? Master Chief is to Xbox like Mario is to Nintendo. They named a !#$%ing studio after a character in it for Christ's sake.

There's only two ways M$ can recoup from this:

1. Take off DRM on physical products (or hurry up and explain wtf they're gonna do and quit spinning in circles on every subject).

2. Provide free, dependable internet to all.

I'm not too worried about the Kinect part. I can just stick a post it note on the sensor or, if they really want to, they can stare at me playing games naked. Their loss (of eyesight)!

That's exactly how it works if it's like the PS3. PS3 did all the processing and sent it out as a video/audio stream to the PSP/Vita. I loved it but it never got much PS3 support.

For the PS4, I'll love it so when my wife wants to watch a movie or something, I can just remote to my PS4 using my Vita and can still play games.

@tevic @Silviiwilvii @Toplinkar Since I'm probably too young to remember (I think XP came out when I was 9 or 10?), was the backlash this big as well when the practice was first implemented?

As a side note: I could see pirating on the PC being a much bigger issue than on the console front. Not that consoles don't have their own share of pirating. I just feel like this is also M$'s way of combating piracy as well.

@Toplinkar I don't know about roughly 15 years ago when I did play PC games but was there EVER a used PC market? Generally (and this is just stereotyping on my part), most people who game on consoles usually support their gaming hobby by selling one game and buying a used copy. A lot have become dependent upon it. Sell a game for 10, buy another for 30. However, when we sell a game it'll either be:

Sell a game for 10, buy a used for 30 + M$ fee.

OR

Sell a game for 10, buy a new game for 60 (potentially 70 in the future).
