And this is the info they've been so reluctant to reveal, why they're keeping the expansion slot locked? A meager 5500MB/s and a bunch of measurements, all of which were already available on SSD's that were on the market at PS5's launch? Don't make me laugh.

I was expecting at least 7000MB/s if not more read and write, and tons of IOPS...

@Atzenkiller: How often do you have to go to town to unload because the inventory is too small to fit more than a handful of items? Especially if you keep charms on you.... And especially since Blizzard doesn't seem to have any intention of making the inventory larger.

Besides, for me is not just about "often", it's also about "fast". I like to farm for items as fast as possible, and having TP on Space makes it very easy and fast to use with the left thumb. The option is offered in hackmaps, you can try on single player or a private server and see for yourself. While not as crucial as Item sorting, it's still a QOL setting i'd like to have officially integrated in the game.

How about adding text coloring and item sorting options, for the items on the ground? So that you can hide some item types and have the game display only the items you choose. It's been done for years by maphacks on the original game, and it's an extremely useful QOL tool to have. Don't need stuff like Pickit for items, cause those definitely break the game. But item sorting is a definite must have, i think any who played the original can agree with this.

Same question about adding any key to an action... like using the Space key to open a TP - so damn easy and useful.

Same question for having the option to display the full Act map once the player finished it once, for example. So useful for farming when you've already finished Hell with that character and you start grinding for good items.

I see they are hell bent on not increasing the Inventory size, which is by far a bigger storage problem than the shared stash. Having to go to town every 5-10 minutes to unload when you do some farming, is NOT my idea of fun in this day and age. Many private servers offer double the Inventory cell number, and block half of them from using charms, to not break the game (they can be stored in the extra cells but don't take effect)... it's pretty neat and largely improves the QOL of the game.

The bigger Shared stash is necessary also, of course, but there are alternative solutions for it.... by asking some help from a friend, or using mules or even multiple instances (on private servers). The same can't be said for the Inventory size, there are no alternate solutions other than direct implementation in the game code.

Unfortunately for Bliz, and because of their stubbornness, I think private servers will remain the best way to enjoy the Remastered game, just like it is with the original game.

@rekonym: That is a solution but there are caveats, because some stuff, like a good number of runewords, only work on Ladder characters, they're not available in Single player.

The only other possibility to circumvent this is to play on a private server that allows multiple instances, so you can open 8 D2 windows simultaneously, and add 7 more of your own characters to the same game like "surrogate" players (i think the server europebattle.net allows this, for example). It's enough to have them in the same Party, because when you complete quests, so do they, even if they are in town. You just have to take them with you through the acts, they have to be in the same act with you to complete quests. If you want to create them to use in Nightmare or Hell, and already have a Matriarch/Patriarch character, you can start a new character from scratch and complete the game with it while in the party with 7 "surrogates". Finish Normal and Nightmare like this and you're golden.

You can also use this to help level up of a new character and rush it through the game, by using 6 surrogates and 1 big level character. But this requires a longer explanation :)

Bloodborne is the one i want to see either Remastered or Remade Bluepoint style, either for PS5 or for PC also. As for a DC version, fans already dug out quite a few dialog lines, enemies and bosses that were excluded from the final version of the game, which make it one of the best candidates for this treatment.

Good to see that Sony takes the PC ports seriously.

After they get Bluepoint too, maybe they'll give them Bloodborne to Remaster for PS5, and get Nixxes to make the PC port.... yeah, wishful thinking :)

"Gallerani said that the team wouldn't allow players to carry infinite arrows or have a larger inventory, as both examples fundamentally change what Diablo II is"

I like Diablo 2 a lot, and I've played the original for thousands of hours back in the day. But I don't consider forcing players to go to town every 5 min to unload is any longer a thing in this day and age.

Maybe once you've gotten to lvl 95 and above, are on the verge of completing your build, you already have a ton of unique and set items, then you can avoid picking stuff up and choose to gather only the best items. But until then you have to grind like crazy. And today, when the free time you have to play is so reduced, and are also many other games out there to play, having to waste so much time going back and forth between actually playing and having to waste time unloading is just enough to stop you from enjoying this otherwise very good game.

I'm not saying make an infinite inventory, but just add a few more rows to it for QoL's sake! Some private servers have done it and it makes the game so much more enjoyable!

If you don't see this as something that can push many people away after a dozen hours or so, you are either blind or lazy as hell.

Oh well... in the end, if Blizz won't do it, no matter... since they confirmed that the mods will work on the Resurrected, I'm sure private servers will step in, take the remastered version and improve it further. Then the real fun begins.

She's off... She pronounced it like it was written Demetrees in English, which is not really there.

A corresponding word in English would be Demetrehscoo

Equivalent pronunciations :

Romanian "i" = English "e"

Romanian "e" = English "eh" (as pronounced in the word "met" from the phrase "We've met before")

Romanian "u" = English "oo" (as pronounced in the word "scooter")
