Bloodborne shows up quite a lot on the news lately, but it's never about a Remaster, Remake or a Sequel...

Here's hoping in the near future one of those 3 will grace the news too.

First of all, it's Miles with an "s" at the end.

Second, of course it's a no brainer, keeping only Sonic for 3 movies in a row would become boring.

Third, I didn't expect Knuckles to be introduced in the second movie, but i'm glad they included him, this adds even more flavor to the show.

Forth, I hope they don't include all of Sonic "family members" though, in the 3rd movie, it would be just too much.

Fifth and final, i hope we get to see Super Sonic in this movie, given that the Chaos Emeralds also make an appearance.

@Hoski0999: Read carefully what i've written, please :

"60FPS is the minimum speed such a game should run at"

and

"60FPS will be preferred over 30FPS in this type of games and similar"

I'm not saying the Soulsborne games were not playable or that they were not enjoyed at 30FPS... The huge fan base is a dead giveaway. Besides, I've platinumed Bloodborne myself on PS4 Pro on 30FPS, registered a total of over 600 hours of gameplay, and even today I think it's one of the best games ever made, despite it's limitations.

But we are no longer in 2015-2018, and i'm not talking about the PS4 era here.

I've played Demon's Souls Remake on PS5 with 60 FPS and it's a totally different experience. Switched to Resolution Mode just to see the graphical differences between them. And after moving around for a minute or so I switched back to Performance and that was that. It looked a bit better, yes, but sacrificing 60FPS for 30FPS was definitely NOT worth it.

And Demon's Souls doesn't even have Ray Tracing, on any mode. Do you think an open world like Elden Ring will fare better with RT attached to it? Methinks not. Just look in the gameplay video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JldMvQMO_5U&ab_channel=BANDAINAMCOEurop from 08:54 to 09:19, see how much magic can be displayed on screen at one time. Add to that Ray Tracing, shadows, high res textures, weather effect like Rain, etc... PS5 or XSX will not be able to hold it all and the framerate will drop bigtime. This is where FSR can be of huge help.

In this day and age everyone wants a game to run at 60fps, much more so if it's released on the new gen PS5 and XSX, or a good PC rig... what the f...k are we paying all that money for ? :)

As any Soulsborne fan can attest, 60FPS is the minimum speed such a game should run at. I don't see that being the case on PS5 or XSX at 4k resolution with Ray Tracing enabled... And mostly everyone will avoid using the Resolution mode, because of the 30FPS cap.

FSR could help a lot in this regard. Unfortunately, on consoles support for FSR is still in early stages.

On PC the option is already available on a number of titles, including the recent Far Cry 6, for example, where it works absolute wonders on the max FPS at 4k resolution with Ultra options.

But on consoles...

Microsoft already implemented support for it in the Xbox Series X dev kit. Now it's up to From software to add it in Elden Ring.

And Sony is quite late/lazy on this front... as it'not available now, and it will be added in the future... When? Dunno, ask Jim Ryan... Maybe on PS5 Pro at the end of 2023 ?

Until games fully support FSR on consoles, any Ray Tracing option flaunt is nothing more than marketing strategy, as 60FPS will be preferred over 30FPS in this type of games and similar.

I just hope From Software implements FSR in Elden Ring... as they did not announce anything of the sort until now (or DLSS support), so i really don't think it'll be available at launch on any platform, PC included. And they are almost as lazy as Sony when it comes to adding new tech features on already launched games....

I'm not a big fan of platformers, so Castlevania Lords of Shadow is No. 1 for me. I loved the game then, and replayed it at least 3-4 times over the years. It's right up there with games like Darksiders 1 and 2. Too bad the sequel was not on par with the first game... it what drew those 3D spinoffs of Castlevania into the ground.

"New "ambitious" game set in an existing CD Projekt universe"

I bet it's "Lute Hero" featuring Dandelion.

@thecupidstunts: He meant that Sony is releasing on PC anything but Bloodborne. Which is sad but true.
