"First mobile installment"? There was a whole series of mobile titles called "Elder Scrolls Travels". Come on, was I the only one to have played "classics" like Shadowkey?
@spooie: And we still have "Artari 2600". I feel like GameSpot's editors have been slacking a bit lately, between some of the spelling/grammar issues, and the odd wording of some of their headlines. Some of those headlines have been genuinely confusing.
@ClunkerSlim: That's my point, though: the killer was decided post-Lynch, at the behest of the network. Not doubting Lynch does some crazy stuff, but if you're familiar with his other works, it's always for a reason, either literal or metaphorical. The reason-less wackiness in Twin Peaks was heavily a result of studio meddling. Lynch only directly handled a half-dozen of Season 2's 22 episodes.
If you're interested, there are some fairly detailed write-ups out there documenting the situation.
@ClunkerSlim: In Twin Peaks's case, it was heavily due to studio meddling. Taken from TV Tropes:
"(Twin Peaks) is probably one of the worst examples of this trope. In a lot of these cases, Executive Meddling is merely irritating, ludicrous, confounding, or, on some rare occasions, justified. In this case, however, it was fatal."
There actually was a plan, but this meddling altered major storyline points, derailed most of the second season, and took away much of the control from the original creators. Season 3, however, has both of the creators at the helm, and as long as they stay there, things might just be okay.
