If alcohol is so regulated an monitored why are there so many deaths directly attributed to it? And then on the other side of the coin, we have marijuana which is illegal so it is not regulated or monitered at all, yet there are ZERO deaths directly attributed to it?That blatantly showcases the huge difference in the potential dangers of both substances.
Besides if a person actually thinks marijuana is a substance that needs to be monitered and regulated, why the hell would they support it being kept on the black market where it cannot be monitered or regulated to any degree? That logic makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. If regulation and monitering was actually a priority one would support legalization, as that is the only way a measurement system would EVER be enacted.
Hell then we have Rehab centers, how many marijuana users utilize these facilities in comparison to alcohol users? I am yet to hear about a person getting in trouble for driving while high, yet drinking and driving is the polar opposite. Possession is the only crime I have seen a person get in trouble for, even when driving a car high. A person gets a DUI or any trouble drunk and they have to stay in jail until they are sober, a person gets in trouble high and they have to wait for bail, not sobriety. These simple facts point to the obvious reality that pot is not anywhere as inebriating as alcohol.
So at the end of the day we have a legal, monitered, regulated substance, that inarguably has been more detrimental than the illegal, unmonitered, unregulated substance. But yeah marijauna is totally the destructive one...
