I'll admit that the whole facial animations bit has me excited for it, but with my wallet screaming at the moment, I'm gonna have to hold off.

Maybe when it's 40$ or so.

Although I'd say Mass Effect has the better universe, Dragon Age:Origins was the best game.

I really can't decide which is the better series.

I actually don't have any, because I hate feeling like there's something I don't know.

That's like baking a cake and not putting icing on it! Peanut butter without jelly, batman without robin. Tons of money on genuinly good parts, to install a illegitamite OS on? People kill me with cheapness.

Along with what the rest of these guys are suggesting, another reason against a laptop for the same price would be that if you get it and in a year or so it isn't up to what you want anymore, you'd have to buy a whole new laptop. With the desktop, you'd be able to just throw in a new video card and keep rocking. Besides the point of if you start out with a good quality case and psu, they will last you a great deal of time. And besides, the excitement of building the computer and installing all of the parts is half of the fun!

I'm getting one soon, only because I was going to buy a DSi anyways.

I figure I'll just spend the extra money for the 3DS and be able to play the good games when they come out.

Until then, I have the HUGE library of DS titles I missed out on.

Wii Sports, back when the Wii first came out. Now, it just collects dust.

My computer is slowly going to die on me, so I quick checked over Newegg and came up with this.

Q6600 *Overclocked* (Got for free from a friend)

Hyper 212+ CPU Cooler

4gb DDR3 1066 Geil RAM

MSI G41M-P26 LGA 775 Intel G41 Micro ATX board

Asus GTX 460 768MB

Random 320gb harddrives (Already Owned)

Corsair 750w harddrive (Already Owned)

Antec 300

For reference, I game at 1680x1050. This is just an initial build for now, so later in the summer when I am able to get more money, I can upgrade to Sandybridge with my CPU cooler and RAM staying. Possibly SLI another 460 then also. Is this a good build idea, Gamespotters?

I do yeah, but it's hard to get decent gaming time when your in hardcore extra curriculars and trying to write scholarship essays.
