I recently bought Battlefield Hardline Ultimate edition off the PSN store from a mobile device which is a cross-buy title for PS4 and PS3. But since yesterday I was unable to download it for my PS3 and only download I found associated with this game on my PS3 was a 100kb file and not the full game. I know PS3 purchases are not accessible when PSN is accessed from mobile and desktop devices but I find a way to download the game file from my PS3 as well. However, the game is ready to be downloaded on my PS4. I am super certain that is a cross-buy and any ideas to get this in my PS3?

@genosectking: Got it finally. And the game is just what you expect from a good Capcom title of the old. Good story and great, simply great music. Yeah D-pad movement is a tad unsettling. But some real RPG elements (interaction with people determines their attitude).

Also, the protagonist features the likeness of late actor Yusaku Matsuda (antagonist of Black Rain, one of my all time fav films). Can't tell you how pleasant a surprise that was mate!Hope you get your replacement very soon. :)

Newsflash-IGN upgraded scores: 8.8 to 9.0!

Anyways, scores aside, both GS and IGN are on the same page regarding crux of the things. Also most reviews on the internet say "Best graphics ever", "prettiest game ever played" etc. Considering even half of what is being said, PC graphics have been challenged....if not surpassed. PC players may disagree, but clearly Naughty Dog knows how to get the best out of Sony's machines.

@genosectking: Thanks for the feedback.

Your copy doesn't work? I mean is it something with the slimmer PS2 and older games?

I found this game at a well, bargain price in Amazon, Is it worth getting. I like DMC series and loved Onimusha 3 (the music, combat, characters and Jean Reno!)

My question-Is Onimusha 2 worth getting? Or is it that it is a failure like DMC2?

@Kruiz_Bathory: Yeah...true that ! Tailormade for people not willing to splurge and enjoy quality console gaming. Also used Wii's have lesser peopensity to break down compared to Old PS3 and X360.

With huge libraries and costing roughly 1/3rd of their current gen brethren, the PS3/X360 still makes a lot of sense even in 2016 (especially for newbies to console gaming) cuz:

-Most of the Platinum/Essential games are re-released as full priced Definitive editions anyways

-Significantly lower cost of AAA titles

-Permanent storage for X360 Games with Gold (XONE games only playable till subscription lasts).

-Graphical differences though sizeable, still not as big as the difference that was in last Gen transition

-Better gamer base for older consoles translates to more players being online.

What are your thoughts on this, people?

@gimme_games: That's quite a capable machine actually and on paper, should run Witcher III and GTA V at lowest settings. You should have no problems playing GTA IV, Skyrim, Darksiders, Dead Space 1.2 and 3, Lost Planet , Bioshock and any of The Assassin's Creed games.

@raugutcon adn @SolidTy : Thanks for the help guys! :)

Finally got one of this:

Just adding a small feedback:

  • It is kinda tighter I than would like in fitting the AV-out of PS2 , but not overly so (then again this is a generic cable).
  • Works only with the Y PB Pr mode enabled from PS2 system config.
  • Picture quality is way better with much cleaner and less muddier graphics in even older PS2 games! Actually graphics look crisper than they ever did with the AV cable and SD TV.
  • Also works with my PS3 , but I would rate the PS3 HDMI cable above this.

@PredatorRules- Thanks a lot! :)

@raugutcon- Thanks indeed! I just searched Amazon.com and these come at (AV2 HDMI ) comes at $12-15. Would this device upscale/downscale the image appropriately?

Thanks again man, seems almost close to the solution , I was not aware of this converter.
