@SaynotoKlaus Well, you obviously haven't played Diablo III then. Or you did, but you were perfectly happy with the fact that you HAD to buy things on AH if you WANTED TO PLAY in the highest tiers of difficulty because the drops were FUCKED UP status-wise. So even if you don't want to trade on AH, there comes a moment when you are getting raped from the mobs times and times again, because even after tens of hours of grinding you still don't have appropriate items. And then you buy a weapon on AH and your dmg skyrockets through the roof! It's not fun, nor it's in the spirit of Diablo series. So I say that you were either REALLY LUCKY when it comes to item drops... or you are the one who is STUPID here :)
@FinnishTeenager Those are called bugs, not lags. Lagging can be a problem with latency (when you play something online), or graphics lagging, when your FPS is really low thus the game seems to be "choppy". And no, no matter how good PC you have, if the game code isn't written properly you will still experience bugs.
@CrushedGear @RC-Sev Skyrim has a vast open world, great vistas and shitty story with dull characters. That's all that Skyrim has. Judging by the screenshots of DA, it's far from the RED engine of Witcher 3, so I really doubt it will be more spectacular, plus it won't be as big as Witcher 3 in world terms. And, no matter how good story and/or characters DA will have, it won't beet the depth of Witcher's story and/or characters. DA origins was a great game, but both Witcher 1 and Witcher 2 have better stories and characters.
And btw, while we are on the business politics topic....
What about Riot? Although not as big as Blizzard, its getting bigger and bigger every day. LoL now has almost 3 times more active players than WoW had in its golden peak. But still they improve the game, still they are holding their quality, still they are listening to the community and really DOING real improvements based on the feedback that they are getting from the players.
But I guess that you being an expert in that field, know only for one way to handle a large corporation.
About the greed thing... Take a look at CD Projekt Red, that's all I'm asking you to do. And btw, you say that every company makes stupid decisions? That's true, but wise companies who care about their customers a little bit will take a lesson from mistakes they've made and do better next time (again, CDPR).
Everyone wants to be rich and successful, I get that. But can you agree that there are some boundaries? Ok, I could maybe ignore the fact that they seized the opportunity to expand their business model and get some more income, but c'mon, what about the constant ignoring of some burning issues in the pvp over the years? They just don't give a ****, that's the point.
So Jimmy, you basically want to say this: If you like something, come and post about how much you like it! And if you don't like it, don't write anything about it! Well Jimmy, let me tell you something: This goes far far back to the World of Warcraft and Blizzard's way of doing things. I could spend the whole day writing about greed and amount of don't-give-a-fucks that blizzard has shown in the last 6 years (starting from making the wow casual to the fact that they almost never listened to the players about in-game balance, stubbornly implementing their own idea of balance).
So Jimmy, you see, if you like to keep your mouth shut when you don't like something - then by all means do so.
