Really?! I thought the core of the Diablo experience was Blizzard making money off of a mediocre game. Can't believe I pre-ordered this. Well, never again Blizzard.
Safe and convenient way to trade items? Man, half the fun in diablo 2 was stealing other player's sh*it lol
What the heck ever man. Sorry ... This is like someone pissing on your for a year , and then apologizing while saying" we know that you enjoyed the piss a couple of times "
Sorry but this 2013 and I am not loyal to a company that pulls this kind of game. I mean i bought a 1200$ gaming rig to play this and then SO disappointed. Whatever. they ruined this franchise. End of Story. They come out with this hollow excuse to try and sell expansions from people who might say " well I'll go back and give it another shot"
Whatever. I'll take GTA V, BF4 , Next Gen, etc.
i am actually kinda sad the AH will be gone ! I mean the game itself isnt that good but the Ah kept me coming back for sellng and browsing stuff, now that it will be removed this game wont be as fun anymore at least for me.
damn just stop crying about Diablo on PC, some fix are coming with loot 2.0 and some stuff so yeah the loot system is better on console because THERE IS NO FUCKING AH, so yeah they boost the loot system because console player would have cry to death because they would have not get any good loot....so yeah we still have the AH to get good loot because PC loot suck, console loot is good because they don't have any AH, so its the fucking same thing, just wait when the new expac is coming out, loot 2.0 is going to fix all that shit and no AH anymore so yeah!! WTF!
hmmm no more auction house.... does it also mean DRM also goes??? cause it was the only thing that was making it reasonable. i assume at least that at the end of D3s lifetime they will release a DRM free version so that they can utilize the servers for other more important things like a WoW mark 2 or a new IP.......yeah not much hope for those seeing as the best the "going back to roots" team came up with a good cardgame , but still a cardgame.
THE IDEA OF THE AH WAS TO GET PROFIT OUT OF EACH SALE, DON'T BE FOOLED. THESE TWO GUYS FUCKED UP THE GAME BECAUSE THEY WHERE GREEDY AS FUCK...
YEAH YEAH MORE EXITING NEWS, BLABLABLA GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! D3 SUCKS, IT'S A BAD GAME AND THESE TWO IDIOTS SHOULD FEEL BAD
I hope one of those dudes on the video trips on an elecrical wire or something, and the entire Blizzard HQ burns to the ground with man and mouse, if there are any mice in there. When the Blizzard France HQ hears about this, they ragequit as well, taking mass suicide, because all the mice died in Blizzard main HQ. That to me, would be a legendary drop.
What ? I got no problem with the Auction House as it is now...i do 10 work hours everyday and i wanna have a good time when playin' D3 with Legendary gears when i want it...AH provide the stuffs that i need
Pls. just it shut it down completely the game included nothing can be salvaged the whole always online, auction house, etc. You have just failed not even words could describe it.
You have made an elitist community by this time nobody cares whatever remedy you people at blizzard do. Just squeeze the sour milk of a game you could at WoW bec. it will be the final resource your company will ever pool to live of financially off. If you think of making moba-type game sry but dota 2 had already beaten you guys to it.
Blizzard 2nd biggest game company to fail to EA still takes 1st place.
But did they address the level low randomisation problem ? This is the major point that kills the replayability of the game.
wow i never thought they would do it.. well it should end the claims that blizzard put the RMAH only to get more money...
How the hell did it take you guys this long to figure this out? Pitty. Instead of D3 being remembered as that fantastic game immortalized into gamer legend --- it has become the symbol of greed and overall BSerey (whether warranted or not). And I think the AH was largely responsible for this.
its because that fucking AH idea from the start, that's why diablo3 need to be online, if you wanna give us a good gaming experience make an offline mode mode to your heart, we buy the game god dammit, feels like renting the game the way you do.
Now if they would just drop the always-online requirement, they might have a chance at getting my money.
Judging their body language
It feels like they were kidnapped and they were forced to declare this :D
Online gameplay is good the only reason to play ofline is hacking the
game... I already found on Consoles... are there any editor ??? this
cant be true... someone just droped a legendaryt 3 socked 4000+ DMG
&*$%¨one handed sword! wtf!!!??? thats why I prefer the game always
online... Legendary drops are tooo common on Console that it loses the
value of being legendary... anyway its better than PC... I hope Reaper
of Soul less but better drops work... they shoul bring back the
enchanter idea so we can mod our itens...
NNOOOO!!! The main reason D3 on console rocked is now bein g shared by PC? Mother @#$%^&!!!!!! Joking =) Glad for PC users =)
Btw... WE ALL TOLD YOU THIS LONGGGGG BEFORE D3 CAME OUT YOU GREEDY #$%^&* !!!!
How will they f**k this up now then? Remove trading completely and make all items soul-bound? They're so close to achieve that dry boring 8yo req wow feeling into Diablo III, just need that one last finishing touch before pull-out.
u killed the diablo soul. made it world of warcraft. where is dark corridors exploring.. being crazy to find something new.. no no no. u killed diablo now u clean your shit. (after earned billions of dollars) now u tell us its not suitible for core of game. or u relized u fuck the game just like bioshock inf.(bio inf is totally shit and arcade.)
i really really hate that online gaming shit. KİLLİNG GAME SOUL.
@quiksilvers123 I was lucky enough to get the free trial to level ten thing from a friend. I never even made it to level 10.
Saved me $60!
@Printul_Noptii Maybe you would have more fun playing Ebay?
@Printul_Noptii Well it can now begin to get better for the rest of us.
@Rooten Dude just admit nobody cares for a game that is clearly biased against community advising whats best or not for the game.
Players had already forgotten D3 by this time people who still care are the ones who had benefited from it.
Sry bro people had move on to new games and moves past blizzard products to greener pasture on the other side of the hill.People do learn and from what I see its downhill for blizzard products.
@Alf welcome to business in the modern age.
@katanakillbill Exactly. On top of that they're only going back on it because they want the new expansion to actually sell well. They know most people stopped playing because of it being centered around the AH and the game being garbage because of it. Only a small fraction of people that bought the game still play and/or are still interested in it. Which means a lot less in sales of their new expansions. That being the case, they're trying to get people back interested in time for the new expansion. It's only because after crunching the numbers they've figured out that multiple expansions selling well will mean more money in the long run, than the AH staying up with a low population of people playing.
This move was not made to make the fans happy or any thing like that. It's just one more move made out of an excessive amount of greed and a max profit over anything else way of thinking.
@tiamut_88 some people really don't know the meaning of the word fail. 12m copies sold is not fail. butthurt fanboys crying on forums isn't fail either.
@godsend1989 So what do we think of Jay Wilson? F$#@ that loser!
@Leonagard The only reason to play offline is hacking the game ?
This should make feedbackula, it's the most ridiculous statement i've read on any gaming site all year.
@Leonagard ... I think that those who hack the game are people that for X or Y reason won't buy the game, but out of that segment there will be those who will say ... wow, this game kicks ass ... I'm buying it and that's all on that segment.
I don't agree with piracy and it's understandable that a developer would invest in securing the asset with the objective of making that segment that could buy the game buy it from day 1 and to perhaps increase that segment by appealing to those who wouldn't but are over hyped for it; there's also the benefit from online updates (because downloading a patch file is to mainstream /sarcasm) and bug fixes (because Beta is not enough so let's release, monetize on the hype and fix on the go, if game is crap we stop there) , and securing your game key (Reaaally ... well, it happens)... Now, on the other hand, and what is most important from this and what people fails to realize in most cases is that you have a software that monitors your hardware, installed software, probably cookies, favorites and why not, personal files ... because it can be done or exploit by a hacker bringing not only a open invasion on privacy (probably contemplated in the EULA) but a security risk as well, and one that as per history has shown ... they fail to take responsibility of been them the ones to let the door open.
Now, Hacking the game is fun for some people ... that's how they roll ... I mean, there's Saints Row, even the so call "leak" of cheat codes from GTA V ... also there's the modding community soooo ... yes, you not enjoying that justifies the always online.
This is what I believe we should be concerned with nowadays, as this is where the gaming industry is going to ... becoming the most standard, non innovating, full of payments industry of all. Look at what happens to music ... it's ridicule!
@LoKo2k The system will go back to what it was in D2,player trading
@supermarioooooo Look at all that nerd rage.
