Go easy on the over-explaination and tone down the melodramatics. This was at its worst in MGS4. It's like in every major cutscene some character would repeat exactly what someone else said in the previous major cutscene. Stop telling me what FOXDIE does, I already know!
As for the melodramatics, Naomi stabbing herself in the neck 20 times while Otacon sobs via the MKII was virtually impossible to take seriously. Same goes for arm-less Raiden getting all super dramatic while sword-fighting with his feet. Couldn't they have just left him with one freaking arm?
I loved MGS4 overall, but storywise, it kind of lost me halfway through (save for the very touching final moments between Snake and Big Boss)
@IndySandbagTrik Well, I'm not sure you can say it's the worst ending ever because there wasn't even an ending. The old woman fell down the hole, the credits rolled. That was pretty much it.
Say what you want, this ending was no where near the let down that KOTOR II's ending was. That ending felt like they led you through the whole game just to piss on you.
