@DeathDealer11 So you are suggesting in a video about interviews with people who suffered from depression, not a single person in it explained their symptoms? Okay, then we can just agree that Danny is a bad journalist.
@widdowson91 @SaladSniffer It's a medical condition. There are actual defined assets of the condition. It's not insensitive to point out that someone doesn't meet the criteria. It's just factual.
According to the DSM-IV, a manual used to diagnose mental disorders, depression involves "Markedly diminished interest or pleasure in almost all activities nearly every day"
That Clare was not depressed. No way at all. She had a massive interest in video games. Depressed people don't have interests. They lack motivation to do anything or want anything.
Maybe you should have started this video with the medical description of what depression actually is. A lot of people think they're depressed when they're really just sad or lonely. Actual depression most often means you lack interest in anything, you have low appetite, and/or you're suicidal. I spend all day, every day in my room alone lying in bed. Does that make me depressed? No, it doesn't. I enjoy life. I love playing video games, watching movies and TV shows and reading and catching up on the latest political news. I have been diagnosed with OCD, and I am in treatment for it, but I have been assured that even though I have no friends and have major anxiety about social situations, I am not actually depressed.
