Just curious if the weapons and perks or whatever are in the multiplayer are well balanced. Ive been meaning to give it a try but i cant put down the single player.

I'm playing on Hard and its ridiculously tough. You die so easily and ammo and health can be scarce at times, but its still a blast.  I'm also using free aim which doesn't help.  Medium I assume won't be a cake walk, but if you die a lot of times in a row the game will start giving you extra pain pills and ammo.  The AI is also VERY aggressive.

Haha I totally agree with your Tony Scott comparison. I thought the same thing. Its like playing Man on Fire.  Also, i'm loving the game so far. The writing is top notch, the visual style is refreshing, and the brutality is spot on.  Yea, it took me a while to realize hard mode is hard enough where you can't run around and jump in bullet time without getting shot without dying quickly.  Still, its rewarding and so far its making the game last longer.

Anyone know how long each disc is and if there are any boss fights?

First of all, I love this game and i'm not here to bash it. There are some things though that i'm finding really frustrating with the gameplay thats kind of hindering my experience.

1. This is pissing me off the most and happening often. When Max goes into his last stand thing where you have to kill someone or you die, a lot of the time the only person in sight is impossible to hit from my position or ill clip out before getting the kill and you have sit there and watch helplessly in slow motion for like 10 seconds before you die.

2. Hard mode is unecessarily hard. I understand its hard mode, but its incredibly difficult. You die so easily. Two guys shooting at you for 2 seconds can drop you all day.

3. Because hard mode is no cake walk, i'm finding it annoying that in almost every gun fight you have to take on a ridiculous amount of enemies. Almost feels like i'm fighting a small army one room at a time.

4. Lastly, it seems like sometimes guys take so many bullets before they finally go down.

Other than that, its a great game. Havent played the multiplayer yet but im sure its a blast. Anyone else agree or have other issues?

Good point, they did give me a 3 month warrenty when it was sent back. What a joke, i'm going to have to wait another two weeks.

What? Yea, it does matter. Can I get a helpful response from someone? Also, I dont want to have to call microsoft again. I'm sick of dealing with people I can barley understand in twenty minute phone call. Its such a pain. And google doesn't always have the answer.

I just got my box back from microsoft yesterday and it was working fine (I sent it in because there was a video problem). Today, though, I tried playing the Rage demo for the first time and once it launched the console immediately shut down. This happened one more time and I gave up. Then I started to watch netflix and got through almost an entire episode of 30 Rock and my box shut down without warning. I'm afraid its going to keep doing this and i'll have to send my box in again. What could the problem be?

Yea, guess its time to upgrade from the same console to another version of it. Or just get a ps3 since most movies are starting to only come out on blu ray.

Yea, problem is its not under warrenty. Its my girlfriends, who I moved in with. She bought it off her brother, who didnt want it anymore, and I ended up selling mine for next to nothing because it wasnt being used. Probably shoulda sold this console and kept mine.

Thanks. I've never heard of this problem. It will be about the third different form of my xbox taking a dump I've had to deal with. RROD, broken disc try, now this.
