@sugrim Here in brazil, the top selling console was the xbox 360 short after it was released, because, well, it was the first to be unlocked to play pirate games. Every. Single. Person. that I knew have a unlocked xbox 360 and they dont even have a single game installed on their PC, most of them aren't even that much into gaming. Pirating might not be a concern for consoles on first world countries, but it is bigger than pirating on PC in others.

I for once, even though am surrounded by pirates and this is pretty acceptable in my country since every single person does it and it's the norm, buy everything on steam.

@Leivve Yeah, but Sega said it had a deal for three games with nintendo, and one of them were "super secret", sonic and mario at the olympic winter games, sonic lost worlds... and the "super secret one"... So it was kinda predictable... Not OBVIOUS, but had a really good chance.

@lostn I think that behind the rubber thing on the trackpad, there are regular buttons in the same layout of the regular consoles (if you see the picture on their site where the joystick is disassembled, it seems like the white part behind the rubber is divided in four, like buttons) so for fighting games you can click over the rubber like buttons, and you can maybe switch between the inputs using the back buttons.

@shingui5 @archav3n @ilovelctr I think he just meant casually as in laying down in the sofa lazyly, in a "casual" way, not that the games are casual.

@divyeshk1 @EngieTDR yeah but laptops are expensive, and there is a lot of people out there who just dont buy laptops to play, actually they might not even be that expensive but people rather pay that price on a console which they consider easier to use, they just have put it on their heads that pc game is expensive or its not worth it or that their consoles play games better and dont even try running a single game on their machines, I just had a conversation with some guy trying to convince pc were worth it and he just couldnt understand it, and there is lots of people like him out there.

@TheWalkingGhost If this was the norm and then someone came out with a controller with sticks you would think that one looks terrible, its just that you are not used with it.

There is no linking between a "supposed" valve employee and this announcement, those were separate incidents.

There is nothing on the logos that resambles software, no, not only that but the first announcement page only talked about steam, and the steam big picture, clearly pointing out the announcement would be of this nature,

It was pretty obvious what they were going to announce, don't blame valve for your unrealistic expectations.

@strongmokus Valve gave no one any reason to expect a half life 3 announcement.

Wow the mo-cap will start next week and they plan on releasing it on january? That's pretty fast.
