Ok, so for xmas my brother is buying me this monitor for my computer, but I'm gonna buy myself a VGA cable and use it for my 360 too. The thing is, I need to know if this monitor has speakers, so will it play sound? What do I do if it doesn't play sound? How will I be able to get around this? If it doesn't have speakers, but does have a headphone slot, if I plug in my headphones will I be able to hear sound through the headphones while I play? I don't neccessarily mind if I can only hear sound whilst using headphones, as I have some amazing gaming headphones anyway.

Here is the TFT:

Mine has to be Oblivion. I have never been so hooked to a game for the whole first play through. The best thing is when I played it again a year later, it was almost as good the second time through.

I'd play Shenmue before playing Shenmue II. Shenmue is an amazing game, I strongly suggest playing it before Shenmue II. You'll enjoy Shenmue II so much more when you continue onto it after the first game.

I can see what you mean. For some games which perhaps don't have an unlockable extra game, it makes you replay the game to unlock the achievements.

Multiplayer usage seems have now been conveniently plonked into a game, to make it more "team orientated" and "fun", in place of having a good, long and solid storyline. I'd much rather a 30 hour solo game, than a 6 hour solo game with the ability of multiplayer.

I have heard so many mixed opinions on the 360's achievement system. Some say that it makes a game more replayable, so you can unlock all the achievements by doing pretty much everything the game has to offer. But then quite a lot of people I speak to, say that the 360 achievement system has ruined games, as players are desperate to tally up their achievement points, and are quite happy to go through a game, get as many achievements as possible then discard the game.

What are your thoughts?

That's such a shame. I used to love L4D, but sold my xbox 360 a few months back, but I'm purchasing another 360 in just over a week, and was planning on getting L4D again. But maybe I wont bother getting the game again, after hearing this.

Why start the poll at FFVII, when lots of people will say that FFVI is the best?

Planeforger

Well there was only 5 entries I could input, so no matter where I started I would be always be missing out someones "favourite game".

What is your favourite Final Fantasy Game so far and why? This poll starts from 7 upwards, but just tick other if it's any before this or any other of the games in the series.

Mine is Final Fantasy VIII. I loved the setting of this game, the exciting music, the characters exploration was the best yet, and it had an intelligent and immersive storyline. Final Fantasy VII is a close second, though. :)
