Retro City Rampage = wiiware's answer to scott pilgrim. Sure we didn't get that game, but I'll be happy to settle with Retro city Rampage instead.

I don't think you can NEVER be too old to enjoy Mario...ever. I also believe that any attempt to update Mario in order to "keep up with the times" will always be a VERY bad idea. Maybe that's the reason why Mario games have always been successful. They never compromise their vision just to be "hip" and "mature". Whether people agree or not, Nintendo KNOWS what they're doing when it comes to Mario, and I for one am grateful for it.

lol, I'm glad that the North American version didn't get the dvd. I would have felt insulted a bit just having it in my house.

That's odd because when I asked for the demo in my Gamestop in Compton, they first tried to push a pre-order on me but when I refused, the guy in the counter gave me one anyway. Guess I got lucky.

I'm not sure I want to spend a full $50 on a 6 hour game. I know the game is great, but that's too much for a game of that length. And for everone who says "all survival horror games are that short," so what? The original RE and SH games came out a while ago, and simply put: time's have changed. Last generation's great horror games, like Fatal Frame and Eternal Darkness were about 10 hours long and the great ones of this generation, Condemned and Dead Space, are longer. Times have changed and 6 hours is not an acceptable length anymore.

Like the other guy said, It's about quality not quantity. Game length alone shouldn't overshadow how much effort, quality, and good overall gameplay has been put into a game.

Yeah I can't remember the last time I saw a commercial for a Wii game, half my friends that own a Wii don't even know New Super Mario Bros is coming out in a week. What happened to the "Wii would like to play commercials"?... not my favorite commercials but they were memorable and effective. Nintendo could air a few ads with various new and upcoming quality releases for the holidays. It seems like Nintendo's marketing department doesn't even exist any more.umcommon

*ahem*

yeah. Me and a couple of my college buddies are actually planning to set aside a day where we all get together and play when this comes out. And if I go back home, I have a couple of sisters that would love to play this as well.
