Civ makes the best expansion packs in games IMO. Occasionally they might take a misstep in an expansion pack, but generally they are really good, and change the game in a way that you can't imagine what it was like to play before. Religion was a huge boost, the new spy feature slightly less so, and now we are getting new ways of winning, new trade, and new congress, and new ways of spreading influence. That sounds huge to me.
@Voqar Okay, to be fair how many cities are in America that have 1,000,000+ citizens? Now how many have 100,000 or fewer citizens? To say that all cities, or even most cities, are giant metropolis areas just seems silly to me.
@evil-zodiark It would be 3rd on my list, with X being ahead of it as well (there is so much depth to the story line of X if you go look for it that I have to have it as one of my top 2). I would also add Larsa to the list of likeable characters, though I know I am probably in the minority there, most people couldn't get past his looks so whatever. Though I would say that XIII did have a bit of depth in deciding who to fight and what to level them up in. I also somewhat liked their combat system, so it wasn't all bad. Though yes, the characters and story were grating.
