So I'm planning on making this account more or less inactive and moving to a different profile. However, the profile that I was going to change to that has been active since April is still pending. Can anyone give an explanation for this?

5 more minutes or I don't wanna get up.

I usually sleep for an extra half hour to an hour after that point.

First of all, this article is not talking about the computer making us stupid (or at least the excerpt does not suggest that). It's suggesting that the human race is becoming more and more distracted. To which I can agree. And as for making us stupid, I also agree. Where else did 1337 speech and useless acronyms spawn? I'll tell you, no one would normally say that... if it weren't for wide spread use of them in chat boxes.....

Eh, it's okay. I prefer it's sexier counterpart Linux Mint, but that's just me. Mint 9 wins every time!

I heard about this on TV this morning. In order to call that play that horribly, you need to be extremely stupid. Therefore, it can be concluded that umpires receive little to no education. I mean, am I right or am I right?

I'm NOT a big politician, and neither am I choosing sides. I just need more info. since this debate is heating up.

From MY stand point, the USA has an immigration problem w/ illegals, so how is this such a horrible law?? People came in illegally....I understand it "seems" wrong to take these people out. However, they have TONS of opportunities to do the legal registration system. Whats so hard about that?

There's consequences for actions I guess.. Can ya'll please inform me more... Maybe I mis-interpreted the new law.... thanks in advance

Well, I'll explain both sides of the argument. Some people are upset with the law because it gives the police the right to pull you over and check for your immigration papers. Many feel that this is geared directly towards Mexicans and only Mexicans, and these people might also believe that the police will be checking these people based on either discrimination or suspicion based on skin color. However, the law applies to all immigrants, and police are only supposed to pull the people over with reasonable cause. This prevents the police from pulling over a Mexican man just because he is Mexican. However, I doubt that many people will actually wind up reading the law, so this problem won't be set straight for a good 10 years or so.

For those confused, the TC is saying that when you change your diet (more or less reducing it) your metabolism slows down, and therefore you cannot burn fat, because your metabolism is essentially what burns fat in the first place.
