PS3 looks better... for now. Hopefully more games will be announced for 360. I'm looking forward to Alan Wake, Halo: ODST and maybe Star Ocean 4. Usually, I get excited for RPGS early on and then by the time they come out, they look kind of lame. (last remnant) God of War and Killzone 2 are on my list for PS3 though. Resistance 2 looks kind of lame right now.
What's with the bad story badge? FPS usually don't have stories as an important component. I was actually wishing GS would flop this game. Now I can't decide between Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2 :(
A lot of you guys obviously don't know how Gamespot reviews work. If Gears was indeed a downgrade, it would probably recieve a 6.0-7.0 score. A downgrade would probably receive a 7.0-8.0. A 9.0 means that it has enough improvement compared to the previous Gears to warrant a great sequel. Reviewers also take into consideration other current games released as well.

The big characters is just the art style. Normally, you're supposed to sprint from cover to cover so laying low is a good idea to avoid gunfire.
