I understand what you are saying. And no its not sanctifed by an official body. But in a world where there are arent any governing bodies the sentinels are the closest form to justice the world has. Within the world of dark souls invading some and killing them IS murder really. Albeit fictional.
"To bathe in the blood of your kind" is the goal of the blood covenant. Now that sounds pretty dark to me. Which is why i love it. Diesnt mean id do it in real life lol.

@Lyrebon: u spoke about DemonKnight playing his game as the police. The blue sentinels are there to punish people for invading and killing others. Yeah its a fictional game but it is a roleplaying game. I.E ur playing a role within a videogame. Demonknight rightfully said the blues are like the police there to punish people. Thats the role they play amd i agree with what he said.
I for one enjoy the blood covenant i see myself as an invader there to kill that person for there souls. Thats how i play a role within the universe.
Being harsh to him for playing a game like this isnt cool. Games are the greatest form of escapisim. And if you dont play in that way then ur missing alot.
Anyway we are all here over our love for this game so less hate. People are going to have differences in opinions. Thats life.

i guess you're right ^^ what i love about the blood covenant is the ability to just invade people if i want too at any time without restriction. with the blues u are kind of limited to people who have sinned. oh and i love the aforementioned challenge :p
