She's a California senator, there's no way she's going to blame Hollywood violence for any of this. WAYYYYYYYY to much revenue from that part of the state....
Cool, interesting whatever--Hey Crystal D, where the hell is that new Legacy of Kain game I've been waiting THIS ENTIRE GENERATION FOR?!? That would definitely sell. Oh well, looks like this is as good as it gets. *goes back to playing Darksiders II*
@Zapffe RE: the whole AI issue, this is one element of gaming that hasn't progressed over time (unlike graphics). Why is it that the first F.E.A.R. game has remarkably better enemy AI than the latest CoD even though it was made 6 years ago?
I'm starting to think that Cage just says this crap to get a reaction. Honestly, it's free publicity at the expense of hardcore gamers everywhere getting carpal tunnel typing about it. People hating you=exposure (and general attention). Maybe this is the only way he can get people to listen to him...
I mean, this is so obviously false; what everybody has been saying about Spec Ops: The Line being the game he's talking about is completely true.
@SDSkarface I'm not disagreeing with that; the Vita is in dire need of more games, it's just that the iPhone is not a good substitute. A great phone, and it has some good games, but it's still not a hardcore gaming system.
Reading these comments, it's good to know there are others like me out there. I mainly play single-player games because atmosphere and story are extremely important to me. Also, too many people online are the kind of people I get paid to work with every day and I play games to get away from them. I'm not against multiplayer, but you can only go so far it terms of atmosphere and sheer cinematic immersion with some idiot running around killing their own team members.
@SDSkarface I'm sorry sir, but it is rank heresy to compare a smartphone (or tablet) to a dedicated gaming system on a website such as this. No matter how much you love Angry Birds.
