@uncle5555 "Barely released more than a dozen titles"... Are you for real mate? The impact they made on PC gaming is indisputable. Hell, if it weren't for Steam I'd prolly wouldn't be able to afford more than half of titles released for PC. And folks that don't own any of the consoles (PS or Xbox) and are only interested in PC gaming are surely going to be interested in this. Don't just judge something to be strange or wrong just because you don't like it...
wow, those are some "beasty" specs right there... I'd need to dish out a lot of cash to get a PC with those specs here.. Well these specs beat the next-gen consoles by far. What I'm wondering about the most right now is the price of this "little" machine
@TigusVidiks I have no idea where you heard that (about not being in the same scale as PC). What Jawad mentioned before is piracy, because the game is shared on the internet for everyone to download, and that is piracy. For console games this is very frequent, but not so much on the PC. There is as much piracy on consoles as there is on PC.
@leviathanwing @PoinT_To_Blank Are you trying to tell me that they're going to put a minor, that has no past criminal acts in jail for throwing empty threats in a video game? Can you at least grasp how stupid that sounds? And you are even comparing him to a psychopath, who had a history of violence. BUT even his trail lasted for a long time. This case has been blown out of proportion, the kid shouldn't have said that, he certainly has issues, but what he needs is psychiatric aid not jail.
There's no way that kid will really end up in jail because of something he said. That's simply stupid, if he does end up, it will be something that he HAD done, not something that he said he'll do. He didn't imply anyone specific, and he didn't commit a single crime. This is so stupid. The worst he gets off is that he'll have to pay a sum of money to someone. But you don't end up in jail for saying something in a video game, on the freaking internet. There was no crime, only a simple case of calumniation. Not to mention that that kid is probably still a minor.
In my honest, insignificant opinion, this video is horrible. It's just.... the worst marketing I've seen in years. This should be banned. Who in their right mind made this?
This is all from the kitten? What about Blizzard actually donating something? What, they're gonna take all the PR they get from this by using the players? Why haven't they, themselves, donated something to help the ongoing efforts. If they have, and I'm just ignorant, but if they haven't... I mean, kudos to players who donated, respect, but why should Blizzard take the credit for it?
