Just waiting for all the ferociously protective Souls fanboys to defend this game to the death, while declaring their dominance as gamers over the rest: which it really isn't something to brag about in the first place. As a huge fan of the Dark Souls, I would say he is wrong. I would say that he has to give himself time to practice, and research the game to get good at it if he's having trouble. Yet the other half of me, looking at it as an average gamer, and not a fan, I could probably agree with him. If your not a fan of the previous games, a glutton for punishment, or don't have A LOT of free time on your hands, I could understand why he wouldn't like it. What I think the Souls community needs to understand is not everyone plays games as a test of their gaming skill, but to pass the time on a rainy day, to just play something, and have fun. So give it a rest people.

@cjmilla527 No offense, but if you have to get to end game content for an MMO to feel great, then it's probably not that great to begin with. It should be great from start to finish.

Eh, will wait a year, or two when it eventually goes free-to-play to try it. :P

Eh, I don't play games to forget some kind of emotional distress, or a traumatizing event in my life, more so because I've always been terrible at making friends, and relationships. I'm very social once you speak even just one word to me. Yet if I'm the one who has to make the first move, unless it's a situation where I'm well aware I have to, then I simply won't. Lost a lot of potential friends, and relationships because I couldn't take the initiative. With games, especially games like DA:O, and the Mass Effect franchise, you feel like the characters in the game ARE your friends. You have conversations with them, fight with them, see them die, and so on. You feel important to them, and vice versa. You connect with them through all these tragic, meaningful, melodramatic experiences that make real life just seem boring in comparison. They seem much more unique compared to the people just passing by in life. Most of all, it's selfish, but you always feel like the main center of attention, which is gratifying for obvious reasons.

That's about it for me, besides gaming just being fun of course.

I'll admit I'm a little disappointed that the enhanced lighting wasn't included in the PC version. Yet as long as it looks crisp, clear, and runs well on PC, I can't complain. Am just so excited for the PC release.

@nayce54 @gantarat I think it deserved an 7, or an 8. It's fun, lengthy, and looks great, yet it does have some slight polish issues. Couple that with the story being rather dull. It's a good game, definitely not a perfect one though.

@berserker66666 @Penguinlord1 Of course, it's just the positive news for once that is nice. Pumped more than one hundred hours into the original Dark Souls, so of course I'm excited as hell to play the sequel.
