What is it do you hate the game itself or is it Kotick?.

LiquidSnake1001

To be honest this puzzles me to, I'm not a fan of the game but the vast majority of people I know with 360's and who use them regularly play MW2 and seem to like it.

I've heard a lot now about Activision's bad marketing and poor PR but I don't know what people mean - could someone tell me?

For a company like IW and activision to get it right the first time and then have a complete mess of a game using the same engine is terrible.

I think they used a different engine, according to wikipedia anyway, which is my belief as to why the game feels so different.

Seriously, i don't think you can say that the newer improved version is worse than the old version....

I smell 4 year old sour grapes. You probably remember getting an easy ride in modern warfare one and that is why you feel the need to hate on the new game. Its not a Noob Friendly game, you just don't have the skills to match those who have managed to get a grip of the gameplay and use the new guns proper. Come on people? Is there any real problems really....just because you are bad at the game don't make the game bad.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calm down a little. Which game one prefers is really an opinion, and you can't prove someone wrong for disagreeing with you on this matter (just like I can't prove you wrong for preferring MW2). I don't even believe you have much to complain about, most of the gaming community agrees wth you - there are about 5 times as many people playing MW2 than there are playing MW1 (this is just a guess, don't call me out on this).

My main reason for liking MW1 rather than MW2 is that I have alot more fun with it. I enjoy the feel of the game more (it uses a different engine from MW2), the layout, the weapons, the maps, etc. I think it's pretty much a perfect game and there isn't a single thing I'd change about it. While I play shooters mostly for the multiplayer, there were a good few missions on MW1 I had fun playing, similar to the campaign on Halo I'm playing these days and having fun with. With MW2, I just couldn't wait for it to be over. The only reason I go online with it is to play with my friends.

For what it's worth, I'm a good deal better at MW1 than MW2. Make of that what you will.

I just wished my friends still played MW1 :(

Hi all, new here :)

I easily prefer COD4's maps, there were some I really looked forward to playing on, eg. shipment (the 1 time in 100 it was chosen haha) backlot, pipeline, crash, bloc, and so on.

On MW2, there are hardly any maps I really like, the majority of them are ones I don't like :( Terminal is okay, as is Skidrow, but really I only get enjoyment from playing them with my friends.

I consider MW2 a decent game, but nowhere near as fun as COD4. There are one or two features that have been improved eg. some of the perks, and the killstreaks (though they've been overdone I think - 6/7 should be enough or they should be categorised).

Of course, the game might grow on me.
