Uncharted.

Broken gunplay and crappy platforming ftw.

R0rschach-

Wow, really? I didn't find the gunplay broken at all. Different from Call of Duty, yes. But broken, no. Also, I found the Platforming in Uncharted to be natural, fun, and non-gratuitous.

To each their own, though, eh?

Frikkin' HAZE. And I really wanted to like that one, too...

As forUncharted and Killzone 2 (both games that I LOVE): I can dig why folks don't like them, I suppose. FWIW, I am in NO WAY trying to discredit people's personal opinions; if you don't like them, you don't like them. No worries.

but certainly those that dislike those games can appreciate the technical merits of them, right? The fantastic graphics in both, the well paced story and acting in Uncharted. Enemy AI in KZ2?

Technical merits alone seem to keep Drake and KZ2 from the "worst" heap. Unless you've not played many games published by SCEA and they are your only choices...

:) Ok, well, I don't know your reasons for your original post...but here in Japan, like the rest of the world, Sony has had to cut staff. Staff cuts are almost the common nightly news these days. To think that a PS3 user (even the most die-hard of fans) cares more about the PS3 than (say) the person who has to decide how many people to fire is...well...I find that hard to believe... Yet still possible.... :)

the *slow clapping* was for your nearly perfect answer... seriously..

In our Battlestar-loving household, we call that the Adama Slowhand Clap (So say we all).

As for the Vanilla Coke, what you used to love is based on flavors Soda Jerks (that's ehat they were called! Seriously!) used to add to fountain drinks, so try adding a little vanilla to a regular coke. You'll be glad you did!

The PS3 Official Headset Sounds better, is easier to "Marry" to the PS3, and gives you a status read-out of batery charge level, and functionality, which no other headset offers.

I also have the Jabra, and while it works just fine, I strongly recommend the Official PS3 one

Dude, I have both PSP and PS3, and I enjoy them both, but there's no contest: PS3 and Resistance double feature. Just do it. see you in the multi-player...

Yes, R2 Supports Off-Line co-op for Two players.

But listen: Off Line Co-op is extremely hard. EXTREMELY. The Co-op mode is designed for AT LEAST three players (On-line co-op supports up to 8 players). Because of the character classes (Soldier, Medic, Spec Ops), there are NO health power ups (Medics can heal you), and very little ammo lying around (Spec Ops doles out the ammo). With only two players available in Off-Line, One character class will be missing (Soldiers deal the major damage).

It's fun, but games tend to be short, and objectives difficult to meet.

No, 2 Player off-line co-op is a part of R2. However, the only way to play with 3 or more is on-line. However, I think you can have 2 players on the same machine and play with others on-line...

while I will be getting both, R2 will be my first purchase.

As to the game being scripted: I'm just gonna go out on a limb and assume that you meant "Linear" as all games are scripted (Even GTAIV).

However, for all the love that gets heaped on COD4, I'm a little confused by everyone bashing R2 for its perceived linear-ness. COD4 is an incredibly linear game, with trigger points for extra enemies, and such.

I'm sure I'm wrong about this (as I'm sure there's no fanboy homer-ism going on here. R2 vs KZ2), but it smacks of fanboy homerism.

Personally, I'm looking forward to killing BOTH kinds of enemies...

As far as I'm concerned, Trophies don't matter at all to me, but I am sorry it upsets others.

Racing games (and GTA IV) are the only games I'd consider piping in my own songs for. Most game developers spend a lot of time and money creating soundtracks for their games, in an effort to create a more immersive experience, and I like to experience what they've created for me (us).

Playing my own cds during COD 4 seems... wrong. But that's just me.
