Like others have said, those are different reasons. I agree PS4 and Sony in general just always has better games IMO. Nothing against MS, but I just don't care about Xbox exclusives. The ones I do care about end up getting cancelled or they just don't deliver. I still love Forza, but that's it for me. Sony, Nintendo, and PC are just where I go because I love games. I don't care about console fanboy shit. If MS steps it up, I might consider an Xbox one day, but luckily I can save money because their exclusives are coming to PC now.

When Danny left I really started to get nervous. He was producing some cool original content and tackling interesting topics. I really hope we start seeing something interesting soon. Remember all the cool videos that made Gamespot special? Can we at least get some opinion pieces?

I only come here every once in awhile now and it's always the same. Lots of movie and TV stuff, articles that feel very "copy/paste", and the basic reviews and trailers/previews we can get anywhere. What's separating this site from other video game sites?

People kept saying this site is dying and I've always tried to stay positive, but I don't know what to think now. I hope to see some changes soon. I'll probably stay for a long time, but the site just doesn't have the same energy and that sucks...

There probably would've been a similar outcome regardless of who won. When you consider how devoted many Trump supporters are and what the DNC did to Bernie, Hillary as president would've had people rioting too. Nobody should actually want Hillary or Trump as president. I wanted Trump to win, because it makes it even more obvious our system NEEDS to change, but no matter who won, people would be wanting a revolution.

This clearly doesn't work, because look what our choices were. I'm so tired of political parties. Liberals talk about conservatives and conservatives talk about liberals. Each side generalizes and thinks the other is full of morons. From the outside it's so strange to witness.

I'm definitely chill, but you just seem to be serious about your project. It's not something to take lightly. Do it the right way if you're actually thinking about selling it one day. Why take chances? Who comes up with a storyline or concept for a storyline and gets paid with game copies?

It's just something to think about, that will be very beneficial in the long run.

It's not even an open world game, but it's still the most open SP game I've played maybe ever. That's huge for me because most open world games are still pretty linear in terms of what they allow you to do. When you watch videos of how people play Dishonored you really see how flexible the game is and how deep you can go. There are also more subtle aspects to the narrative like how Emily changes based on your actions within the game. What she draws literally changes based on what you do.

It's just a game that can be very rewarding based on your creativity. It can be easy, but it can be VERY difficult also based on your creativity.

I know a lot of people don't like to trust reviews, but this game seems to be having issues for EVERYBODY. I would try to get my money back if I was you. Too many great games out right now for you to put yourself through that. They need to learn their lesson anyways. Don't pay for something that broken.

Free copies for a game story? Could be worth much more than that if it ever goes to market. There's a reason devs and publishers tell you "sorry, but we don't accept game ideas" or something similar.

Anyways, if you're serious, you're not just looking for a free story. You're looking for another member for your dev team or you need to make sure you're protected beforehand. Some signatures will probably be necessary, so you should talk to somebody who knows more about the legal aspects. You WILL get sued if you make something profitable and handle the business incorrectly.

The graphics are one thing, but the thing people forget about are the controls. It just feels so different. San Andreas was the first "3D era" GTA to really start implementing more updated controls and camera.

I also don't need the best graphics, but GTA was on another level with their visuals back then, and I don't mean in a good way. Even at that time many people thought they weren't the best looking games. Those huge open worlds really took a toll on the overall visual quality.

Just check out some videos first. It was a shock for me when I watched a "Replay" on Vice City.

Vice City Controls:

GTA SA was the first "3D era" what are you on about?

GTA SA was the 3rd game that was in 3D

GTA 3 and Vice City being the 2 first.

Also GTA is more than it´s visuals and when people today can play shit like minecraft and Undertale, a well made game like GTA def. holds up.

Lol...did you read it? Why would you quote my entire post and then focus on one thing completely out of context? That makes no sense. It's like me doing this to you..."GTA SA was the 3rd game" what are you on about? What you were on about is the rest of that sentence, and I already know that because I'm a huge fan.

What I said was...

"San Andreas was the first "3D era" GTA to really start implementing more updated controls and camera."

It's an entire sentence, so you ruin the point by stopping after the quotes.

So yes, GTA SA was the 3rd game that was in 3D, but it's still the FIRST "3D era" GTA that plays like a more modern GTA. This is because of the updated controls and camera. That's what I was saying.

Rockstar Games refers to GTA III - GTA SA as the "3D era" and GTA IV & V as "HD era".

And I know it's more about visuals, but how you feel about those visuals is super subjective. GTA only holds up for some, just like only some like Minecraft or Undertale. That's why I said "Just check out some videos first.". I was still playing and creating scripts for VC and SA a couple years ago, but I'm fanatical about those games. If you haven't played since PS2, your memory and expectations might be on a completely different level than someone like myself.

All that matters to me is Sony introduced me to MGS, Gran Turismo, Twisted Metal, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, Tekken, Tony Hawk, Tomb Raider etc.

I loved my SNES and my Genesis, but I didn't really fall in love with games until my PS1. I just thought of video games as fun before Sony came along.
