My pick is Zoran Lazarevic from Uncharted 2. He is a great villain.

  • You wont be lost on the story but on some inside jokes
  • The online community is still strong

The main thing you get ouy of completing the first game is some of the fun in the character interactions. The plots of the two games are completely unrelated otherwise. Online has a strong community still and I have never had any trouble finding a great match. I also really love the co-op.

I have to admit that was a lot funnier than I was expecting.

For me, I would choose The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros, Street Fighter II, Wolfenstein 3D, and Ultima Online.

I think the slim is probably the better choice. Still, you cannot deny the curves of the original.

Virtual Boy for sure. Between the awesomeness that was Mario Tennis and other gems such as Mario Clash, Galactic Pinball, and Teleroboxer (still the best boxing game ever) it can't be beat.

Chrono Trigger is my clear-cut favorite. I also love EarthBound and Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars.

I cried a lot during one specific moment in Valkyria Chronicles. Those who have played know what I mean. I didn't cry during the end of MGS3, but I was pretty darn close.

My personal GOTD is MGS4

But in terms of success (both critically and commercially) I think a strong argument could be made for World of Warcraft. Perhaps Pokemon as a series.
