Epic gives developers a better revenue split, Cool. Though this is a half truth; more on this in a bit. Epic is also so incredibly scummy in almost every other practice. Lets list some of the things oh so "pro-consumer" Epic has done or is still doing.
• Hide the opt-out button for selling personal info. Once the button is found uses misleading and confusing wording to trick you into opting INTO it instead.
• Large glaring security holes that they take way to long to patch.
• Tries to use a lawsuit as an advertisement. All while claiming there to good guy because they don't want to pay Apple the share they agreed too. Flat out they wanted more money than tried to use there blatant greed as an advertisement.
• The better revenue split the keep touting? Yeah they don't tell you that the share Steam takes is based on a tier system. The more the game sells the less Steam takes. the 70/30 split that's always brought up, is the worst possible split. High selling games give a better split than Epic.
• The Epic launcher was caught scrapping people hard drive for personal info and sending it back to Epic.
• Intentionally targeting minors with micro transactions. This includes the FTC launching an investigation about what Epic is doing exactly with the data its collecting from minors.
• An extremely large share in Epic is owned by Tencent
Valve is pretty bad too don't get me wrong. Epic just seems worse. Your free to choose which ever one you want or run both. But you shouldn't let Epic insult your intelligence by buying into this pro-consumer/pro-developer coating they've painted onto themselves. Cause once that coating comes off they're just a dirty as every other corporation, sometimes more so.
Yay a PG-13 Woody Harrelson in a bad red wig...I can't wait. Yep that will diffidently capture the evil that is Kasady/Carnage.
Seriously though I honestly believe they had a script for some generic alien parasite movie that they simply retooled/reskinned into a Venom movie. It had so little to do with the soruce material its was quite literally Venom in the most superficial way possible. It looked like Venom and was called Venom. That's it.
Also this is one of the very few times a movie needs an R rating. You need it to do the character justice. Cletus Kasady is a sick sick individual. Like Joker meets Hannibal Lecter sick; he is a mass murdering cannibal. He literally burned down an orphanage. And this is before he even got the symbiote and became Carnage. I'm not one to say certain movies need certain ratings but this is a special case. You need to be willing to show your audience what kind of villain Carnage is and why this time is different from other super hero movies. PG-13 just doesn't set the correct tone for Carnage.
What could be are last chance to see Venom on the big screen and this is what we get. Hell the only time we get to see Carnage and we get PG-13 Woody Harrelson in a bad red wig, So again I say yay...
A movie about a guy fighting Nazi's with his jetpack? in 2021? I can't see how this can go wrong at all. Nope. No one is going to be able to prescribe hidden meaning to this film. Not at all. Nor do I think the studio would dare use this as a means of political grand standing. Nope this film when only be made for entertainment purposes and won't at all cause fires to break out on twitter.
Neat. I really enjoyed these games back in the game. Sure a new game would be better. But good to know they haven't forgotten the franchise on this side of the world.
@molinars: Jeez do you wake up in the morning and look for something to be offended about?It's a movie. Movies need villain's. Chill out. Rasputin was no doubt chosen due to being incredibly mysterious doubly so with the events surrounding his death. By your logic we can never have villains again. Rasputin has been dead for more than 100 years. Pretty sure he doesn't care. Nothing to do with russophobia they just needed a cool villain character for the era and Rasputin practically writes himself.
Also Gamespot pulls a lot of crap these days but your acting like they made the movie.
You want a LotR war game that truly captures the felling of LotR? Go pick up the Lord of The Rings: War of the Ring board game. One of the best Lord of the Ring games; both video game and table top, ever made.

Ironheart(Riri Williams) wasn't the worst of marvels "new" characters she was just boring. She lacked the charisma of Tony Stark. Her personality was kind of all over the place too. Maybe it got better as the series went on. I put it down after the first few issues myself.
I just hope they give the character a chance to stand on her own two legs as a person and a super hero. Without making it all about her skin color.
