The new red-band trailer for The King's Man has been released. The prequel to the King's Men movies hits theaters on December 22.

The King's Man focuses on the early days of the franchise's secret "independent intelligence agency." It's set just before the First World War, and sees a young man named Conrad (Harris Dickinson) recruited by Duke of Oxford, played by Ralph Fiennes. The villain in this one is the legendary Russian tyrant Grigori Rasputin (Rhys Ifans), and this NSFW trailer delivers all the foul-mouthed quips, extravagant action, and over-the-top violence that fans have come to expect. Check the trailer out below:

The King's Man also stars Gemma Arterton, Liam Neeson, Daniel Brühl, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Matthew Goode, and Stanley Tucci. Like the previous films, it's directed by Matthew Vaughn. The film was originally set to arrive in September 2020, but had its release pushed back several times. Check out the first King's Man trailer, which was released in June last year.

The Kingsman: The Secret Service was released in 2015 and made more than $414 million at the worldwide box office, while 2017's Kingsman: The Golden Circle made $410 million. Although The King's Man will introduce a new group of characters, there is also a fourth film in the works that will return to the modern storyline of the series.
