@valknight well, you can always return it with receipt and, exchange it for the other one. as long as it has been under a week i believe.

But that aside, Nintendo has always done this before, so its nothing new, i'm just happy they finally released a black edition when I'm finally jumping on board for the 3DS.

@StHapns247 I doubt anything like that would happen :T they both have been very secretive on their pre-sale figures, as of right now its speculation.

Honestly I think both will sell equally, and there will still be plenty of game systems for both Sony and Microsoft to sell. As to what system people are going to prefer over the other is still vague as well... But one thing is clear, there does seem to be quite the hate towards Microsoft.

Xbox is releasing more consoles? isn't that bad if they are making hiccups on marketing? Sounds like sony is playing things more conservatively.

And yes the Wii U is screwed lol they only thing Nintendo has good going right now is the 3DS XL.

@stanknuggetz12 How can I be wrong in voicing my opinion?

There are a lot of people that are die hard fans of the Xbox Console that are just as much of a fan as both you and I (Yes I like the Xbox) that are upset about how Microsoft has been handling everything.

The "High and Mighty" comment was used to illustrate how Microsoft is too proud to give a formal apology, and fix the confusion that has been prevalent since day one.

Also, the majority and minority of people posting here ARE gamers. That is not including other forums, blogs, social media site, etc. that are voicing their opinion on how they feel about Microsoft's mishaps.

If the general population of gamers didn't support or agree with my comment, then answer me this.. Why are there so many unhappy people with Microsoft? And why so many posts about it? And if it wasn't such a big deal, why is it right now?

Personally I want to take an unbiased view of everything and analyse what is going on, and voice what I think of the situation. That in itself does not make any statement I say right or wrong.

Nor does that give me, or anyone else for that matter, the right to say what someone else says is right or wrong.

I hope you understand what I am saying.

@iempire68 Agreed. It isn't going to be a big issue unless you make it into a big issue. Microsoft certainly have made things into a really BIG issue with gamers. Needless to say that is what has spurn on the recent debates, trolling, and hate towards Microsoft.

Things could of been different than how it is now, if they had taken proper steps to correct it, then nothing at all.

Opportunity wasted indeed.

@ricardo_santos It's not just Gamespot that's got the hate towards Microsoft, it's the general population of gamers, and fans. Quite frankly Microsoft has a sort of 'High and Mighty Ego' of themselves, and are too proud to actually listen to fans and give what the fans want.

Thus far, all they have done so far is the proverbial pat on the hand (on themselves) with the infamous "Shame on us!" quotation. I ask you how does saying that help the gaming community, when all they say is 'we need to explain it to you so you know what it can actually do'?

Fans are further slighted when Microsoft makes comments such as "We will make changes only if gamers make enough noise."

Also the apparent lack of applause at the announcement of the XBox-One at E3, should of raised some red flags for Microsoft that something wasn't quite right, and should of reevaluated the reason why that was so.

But lets face it. All we really want are good solid games that play on a good SOLID gaming system... (Does anyone else agree we want a "GAMING" System?) At least one that isn't so restrictive or intrusive, and also a bit more on the affordable side.

But hey, we live in a very picky and egotistical society. Microsoft has too big of an ego to listen to gamers and make them happy, and we as gamers are too picky and not easily pleased with what we get and thus complain about everything that doesn't make us happy.

*Sigh* I miss the good ol' days back when a gaming console was just that, a gaming console. Sweet and simple.
