And they lost a versatile young player in FAVOR of an 18 year old that hasn't played in the NBA yet! And they still don't have enough to sign to twotop guys and fill out the roster with proper role guys.
But seriously , this makes things very interesting. They might as well trade Devin Harris and Favors for a stiff and a pack of gum at this pointand clear more cap space andhope to get studs 2 guys to go along with Lopez.
Then again , maybe their backup plan is to suck again , get another top 3 draft pick next , have cap space , and lure Melo next year.

Nets got Harris/Lopez/Favors/T-Will, Avery Johnson/Smitch and Rod Thorn and if he is retiring the Nets will just sign Jerry Colangelo. Buls have cap room Rose/Noah/Deng and enough cap room for another star. Everyone else just have gimmicks
