Please get out AC 2 as soon as possible :) My wife just got into Assassin's Creed but doesn't want to play through the first 2 games. We watched the first together and thought it was the most well put-together video of this type (along with the Uncharted youtube videos that do the same). Looking forward to AC 2!

The style of this game is way too cutesy looking for me. Not at all what I was expecting. I was hoping for something a LOT darker looking.

This made me lose all interest :( Moving on...

@Elann2008 - but with so many games having broken or no SLI support at all, I'd sooner sell my current 580 and buy a 680 rather than get a 2nd 580 and SLI it. I Just feel like it's the more stable and reliable option. My 580 will be on sale soon... :)

@PeterDuck Agreed. Skyrim's melee combat has absolutely no weight to it, and enemies don't really react to your hits. When I swing a sword at an enemy, I may as well be swining at air. Dark Messiah NAILED melee combat, and that's what made that an enjoyable game that I played from start to finish. Skyrim is an otherwise brilliant game... but the combat blows.

@adancata I'd be willing to bet that 2/3s of PC users have nvidia cards. So many game releases have been horrible for ATI users. I JUST switched from ATI to Nvidia after using ATI for 6 years. Anti-aliasing is harder to get working for some games. Nvidias drivers are better. The cards are faster (though more expensive). I honestly don't see myself ever returning to ATI. When it comes down to it, it's a matter of preference. Saying you stopped reading this article because the guy made a smart decision is just... silly.

@stsk8ter29 - you do realize that pro gamers actually make salaries to do this for a living, right? they aren't sitting around on a sofa for hours on end. they're actually WORKING. a starcraft 2 progamer was recently given a salary over 6 figures to sign onto a team. question is... are you sad, or just jealous?

Some people seem to think that high-end PCs are only good for games. False. They're great for all sorts of things. I do a lot of digital media related stuff and I like to be able to have all my programs running at once. Now, graphics cards ARE really only good for games... but they're being improved upon to be used for other things. Oh and with Fallout 3, you're gonna want a mouse. That is, if you like aiming at heads. So... what sorta things can your Xbox do? Oh? Just play games? Go figure.....
