I live in Holland too (39 years old), and i am in a older gamer group with the age range from 30 to 50. But the group who gets the most negative attention (and therefore most of the attention) are the 12-16 age range.

And dare I say, that some games sell faster (not the 2nd hand market) because the games that have an easy 1k achievement point is another factor that certain people consider when buying a game

In my opinion, it doesnt add anything but maybe a sense of accomplishment on goals set by the developer.

And of course to measure your e-peen to others :P

Fallout 3. No matter how I try, I just cant get into this game....

I did get Dantes Inferno mailed to me (death edition) on the 3rd of feb (last wednesday), 2 days before the official EU release.

If Microsoft has a problem, it should be with the company that delivered me the game 2 days early before official release date and not with me, even stepto said that many a times on the major nelson podcast.

So if you got it by legal means, just put it in and play it. No worries

The excitement comes in waves. It was gone while I was totally soaked up my mass effect 2. But now that I finished it, and march 9th comes ever closer, I'm getting more excited.

I do not know for the rest of Europe, but here in The Netherlands, it is available since last tuesday (2nd of feb), which was a surprise for me, since I thought (like you) it would be the 9th worldwide...

I cant choose since over the years of the 360, there have been a lot of amazing trailers and teasers.

I agree with mostly everyone especially Gears 1 with Mad world in the background, it realy gave that trailer a emotional impact (at least to me)

One that I am missing in the list is the teaser trailer of Tomb Raider Underworld. I never have played the game, but for originality and overal camera work i think its topnotch
