Right now there really is no difference in Vista gaming yet. I upgraded in the beginning and saw no difference. There are still a lot of stability issues for certain games. And also a whole lot of software that just doesnt run right. If I knew better I would probably have held off on upgrading. Although it looks good there are just too many performance and compatability issues with a lot of software now. It is getting better as more time passes but its a slow road.

Oblivion is an amazing game for the PC. I already have 140+ hours logged on it and havent even gone 4 quests into the main story yet. There is so so much content for this game its ridiculous. This game has also been embraced by the modding community in a big way too. That should tell you right there that its a game worth building on. Bethesda really got it right on this.

I would have to say that if you can afford the upgrades then do it and play this game. It is beautiful in everyway.

I like the changes so far. Someone else posted that it looks too dumbed down but I think it looks a lot cleaner. The new video section is pretty cool too. Nice to see all the videos on one screen, no switching back and forth.
