I live in Toronto andwith microsoft i got mine back in 5 days, also had my power brick go and had that take 6 days. Now im useing best buy's warrenty since its past the first year and its been 3 weeks and its not back, soon i hope though.

Next time it breaks im going through microsoft if i can, if not ill just use the extended warrenty i got with the system for xmas, which is the biggest scam ever, dont buy extended warrenties from best buy or futureshop

Its ok, as you can see the tutorials are on stationary targets and montoges do not include misses. If somone wants to run around like that then go for it, if he can destroy me from the hip like that good for him.

Ill keep my stg and play my way, just gonna stay away from bolt only tourniments. I finaly realise why 14 yr old cry babies say ill one on one you bolts only and destroy you, when they are humiliated in a game.

Make a new account on it, i remember having to do that to get the "guest" to show up, or mabye i named it guest, but it worked for me and i diddnt need gold or anything for it, Same game too

its seriously still 60 bucks, i got it for 29.99 not on sale at blockbuster around toronto. since its 30 bones id say 12 bucks or less, if you can get 25+ for it id say that is the decision to either keep forever or set it loose because it will be going down soon.

Modern Warfare 2 is coming out in november, which will demolish the COD4 numbers of online players. Id wait espically if you have WaW.

I think WaW is the better game, since cod has no co-op campaign, no nazi zombies, and will be outdone by MW2.

Spawn kills are exact same in frequency, but WaW might have more small maps in rotation than COD4.

Atleast in WaW u dont have to worry about 80% of matches being sniper on sniper and those semi auto sniper rifles. Bolt action is where its at, persuedes people to use other classes but still fun to snipe with.

WaW has 2 player campaign but 4 player online. it all comes down to how small you want the boxes on your tv, most people dont play on 40 inch tvs so it can get pretty small.

I think its all in your choice of game and how it is geared. Marvel ultimate allicance and beat em ups usually have 4 player since all of you are on the same screen, sports too.

I assume ur talkin FPS though, the stuff gets too small to see, and it probably takes alot of strain to run 4 perspectives of the samecampaign on the same machine. Even some 2 player campaign games have 4 player multiplayer since there is no scripted events or extras, id rather have some awesome online or 2 player splitscreen, then someone scaleingdown to get 4tiny screens atonce.

other than clearing the cache i cant realy think of anything. Thats the button command ur thinking of im sure.

MS support should be able to help you, since it costs nothing to them. Otherwise theyplay dumb.

Edit: you have to call them and always pick "other" option to talk to someone, automated help isnt very helpful

dont get COD4 now, its too late. COD:MW2 is comeing out in november and its gonna be pretty much the same idea but improved. COD4 has no multiplayer campaign, and relly will get dropped dramaticly once #2 comes out.

Get WaW since its a different experience and exact same price. Has 4 way campaign (2 local 4 online), nazi zombies, online is just as bad as 4 no matter what anyone says, just as many spawn kills.

I think its a better game than 4 but modern warfare 2will continue the the ladder and rise above, but cant say i miss the semi auto sniper rifle, bolt action made it alot harder to snipe, thus people have realised snipeing isnt theeasyist way to win a game.

disk drives are one of the lowest common faults. Its all RROD and now E74, they are covered with the newist version of the included 3 yr warrenty. Most of the people who have had multiple breakdowns are just re-repairs of older models. I am in the same boat but am only on my 2nd fix in 2 years and 6 months, all repairs were free and i have the xenon (worst chipset 3rd place of 3) out there.

My friend has a jasper and has no care of leaving it on and walking away. They have really improved but this should of been the first model out. I say get it now, its how xbox should of been when i got it. Prime time but seriously get a HD.

cant play online without one and now some games require the nxe update which takes up 2/3rds of the memory of the arcade to play. It forces you to update and comes on the disc (ie WANTED:Weapons of Fate) i hope this doesnt become common,

sounds like you bumped it to me, no matter what it was PS3 or Xbox same thing would of happened.

it sucks bad but i dont think u go start a lynch mob yet, it does suck but its the same with computers except computers are much bigger and take more force to bump.

Chalk it up to bad luck because you could of bumped it the same way 20 times and it not happend but i dont think this is the disc scratching problem everyone else is talking about.

hope it dont happen again or atleast u get lucky and have it come out scratch free
