Whoa! Have you guys played the game? I played this on the PS1, it's a CLASSIC. This game is weird, hilarious, disgusting and more than anything, unique.

Remember Guitar Hero 3? They had SO many in-game ads, you'd be playing at the TAMPAX Fesitival in Bestbuy, Germany where billboards had Verizon Wireless all over them and they were as big as the stage. Yet people don't talk much about that and GH:3 remains as one of the greatest rhythm games of all time.

I heard the ads were in secret zones, like an easter egg if you will, where immersion breaking is acceptable. You want to know the real problem? The internet. If it's a great game and the positives outweigh the negative, why blow it out of proportion? Put it this way, if a group of people got together to talk or discuss the game would anyone talk about the ads? Perhaps a mention but it wouldn't really go any further than that, get real.

Actually, you're right. What a joke, ha ha ha. Super Nintendo's Street Fighter 2 was such a fluke. It gave no precedence to fighting games and never struck popularity again after that. It is THE fighting game. The best series in it's genre.

They ruined Resident Evil, I'll give you that but clearly you never played Street Fighter IV or were terrible at it. It's easily recognized as not only the best in it's series, but will be the best of all time.

@watson27 It felt like Gamespot was thinking, "we'll give it a 9 so it shuts them up but our review is going to make a point that we don't condone the acts in GTA"... Well no s*** but I don't really believe the people at Rockstar are he-man women haters putting extra filth in there to purposely offend anybody. It's not a horrible review or anything but opinions differ the further you get from it's targeted demographic. The game isn't for everyone but I wouldn't stop anyone from playing it though.
