Facebook games and F2P are money sinks. :(Althoe i am going to keep an eye on that FPS Mech game: HAWKEN!... if i got the name right; i just look it up on youtube.Interesting show, and it blew out 24 mintues till D3!?That Racoon City got me, but i was trusting Capcom to deliver a good game i could play till D3... I returned it within 2 days(as well as others) for credit towards my D3. Likely not buying RE6 no any Capcom game ever so i help hurt their pockets.. VICTORY IS MINE!!I really dislike when ppl say things along the lines of:" defending companys money gain tactics" and "the disrespect or care for the gamers in regards to many things outside of just making money from them", not only are these their customers but these games should always be made for the fun and entertainment for them; not for filling their pockets with. Too many companys are tossing out garbage and making more money spent on them then they are actualy worth.. using cheap tactics to make the game appealing.
Im trying to say that it NEVER should be about the money first, it should always be about bringing a fantasy dream world to life and presenting to others to enjoy, and making sure that its nothling less then giving it your best to present it.
Its like comparing Final Fantasy 7 to Blue Dragon(i never played cause it was garbage) FF7 Clearly earned all the money it ever earned.
seems like a game that is just test running some idea's.Kind of interesting but I get a STRONG sense of flawed gaming.+ its an EA game, and i have pretty much given up on their stuff, company is dirty.
So the game SEEMS interesting, but i heard nothing mentioned of the whole: F2P item system... which is how they will make money. I believe your gear will suck so bad it will make u HAVE to buy/rent items so you can progress smoothly instead of hacking things with a dull-blade.
Im interested in the game, but i have full fears of it since its F2P and like all F2P games they reward ppl who spend more money on items a month then what paying a subscription would cost.There wouldn't be much fairness or balance in this sense.
What do i expect for a F2P game to make money from?, how about just a $10 month subscription.Im hearing words of F2P games being the future, but really I havn't seen it.
WoW isn't F2P and it has reached (once) 12million players.. Of course Panda-land expansion has feared 2million and still counting.
Im not aginst F2P, i know some ppl prefer playing for free and getting ... moderate gameplay. But I would vote for monthly subscription for any game if it always helped greatly with cheaters, quicker bug/exploit fixes, added content, and clearly fairness in that everyone is in the same boat instead of some players buying their way to victory.
WURD!. Over the past years I seen TOO MUCH crap released by these fools, i never felt so bad about buying games. I find myself playing older games for entertainment, the new games these days is nothing but short gameplay, high graphics, and DLC's for the rest of the game. I rather play some SNES titles then pay to play for the crap that been pushed out. I was about to play some Armored core's on PS2 until D3 is out, and if D3 sucks... i think im just basicly done.
It seems ppl are scared of the "changes" made, I admit im worried and i don't feel things like transformations(atleast on some chars) have a place in D3's mortals vs Demons game. Its being discarded for its graphics(brighter colors)?, its a con perhaps.. its not like you couldn't just ajust to it, but it clearly is still a beautiful game. RMAH?, ppl won't be selling or buying junk. We're talking about end game stuff; hard it find or craft items, not simply common stuff. its 1$ just for trades, and 15% for trades, then another 15% to get the money out. Getting "rich" off this isn't going to be easy so long as blizzard is stopping farm bots. The game will be fun and entertaining, ppl are just afriad of the changes. It is still clearly withing the Diablo series regardless of these changes. I don't think the majority will care that some small % of ppl won't play, its less chance of a "server is down" all morning and day. Blizzard has always delivered great quality games, I got faith in the company.. I expect great times with D3.
The endings are weak, there is a lot more choice(should be). This retarded star child trys to use some sort of logic which faults towards what i have built and accomplished in the game, yet my Sheppard still nods like a tool and accepts 1/3 endings instead of throwing facts and logic back to that child. How lame of a ending to rely on a doomsday device, a "I win button", id have reject the 3 endings and fight the reapers with the combined galaxys might. The endings just do not make much sense, terribly lame thought up crap.
Everyone should be able to freely share opinions and ideas without being attacked like her, this just shows the gaming community is filled with ..... well what can you really call it?; scum?. If this was placed into games, it WOULD NOT affect players who don't use it. Its an option. Some players just can't cut it in some fights, this could help with lowering the difficulty to these players. Really, i wouldn't call it a community, it srsly is FILLED with these kinds of people. I don't think we are close to the worst of it, games seem to be BREEDING the worst in people. Its just as common to have a nice game as it is to find a game of wannabe-thugs and heavy trash talkers. And clearly from reactions from the posts shows what a good piece of the "community" is really like; idiots who only spread intolerance and hate.
