Thanks guys. I hope you will consider doing an explanation on the NVIDIA settings for shadows and ambient occlussion which were introduced in The Division. I personally tried out these settings but couldn't really tell the difference between just keeping the shadows on high.
@computernoises: Yeah I'm in the same boat. The only reason I'm upgrading is because my motherboard is acting unreliable and my I7 2600k noticeably chugs on X-Com 2 on a fairly nice GTX 980ti.
I mean, could be the game itself but my current setup isn't flexible enough for future upgrades.
My favorite opening has to be for Soviet Strike on the PSX. The video editing was slick, the monologue memorable, and the music was top notch. I could watch it every time I boot up the game even to this day and that's saying something.
From what I've seen. If you've already got the PC version of this game, don't bother getting the definitive edition unless you want the DLC. The HD texture pack on the PC already does most of what this version does and though there are changes in the lighting, there's not enough extra detail added to warrant another purchase.
I love the game, but these upgrades are not enough to make me want to buy it again for slight tweaks. Also, on the PC version I hear that the HD texture pack is not active. Could be a rumor but, again, seems like you can skip the upgrade if you have it already.
Nice job Danny. Glad to see you're exposing these con artists for what they are. They are 100% responsible to their audience and they are legally obligated to finish that kickstarter. I really hope something is done about these guys because 500,000 is not a number to sneeze at.
This is definitely NOT going to be an HOH game. I was watching GS stream this game and man. It is bad, really bad, boringly bad. So bad, that even Jessica Chobot rage quit from her own game.
