Assassin's Creed Unity - Elise Reveal Trailer
Arno races across the rooftops of Paris to save Elise from beheading in the latest trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity.
first, did anyone else notice the Templar necklace on Elise neck??? the lady privates more powerful than the order creed??? bah, no true ass-assin...jokes, jokes. Curious as how the word, "unity" will play out in the main story. Assassins and Templars working together for a common cause even for a short time? interesting...
personally, I'm tired of the same repetitive gameplay especially these redundant 100% synchronizations of getting all flags/animus fragments that have NOTHING to do with the game or even a special bonus. Freedom cry, AC4 DLC had NOTHING to do with the AC story other than that protagonists personal goals.
last thing, I have enough SP games to play thanks to online games consuming my time. AC unity will be purchased once it is on sale just like Thief and Watch Dogs. Ubisoft, pre-purchase sales will no longer be purchased from me...suck on a fat melon =)
cool vid though..i know it's CG and not gameplay
Best Game Ever Made. And shes hot too. Hope you guys stop bitching about female characters, even through you will still find some reason to bitch about
That was a really sweet trailer. Great music, heroic cinematic shots, awesome graphics. Very nicely done.
wow, i forgot it was a trailer multiple times, and thought it was one of those live action trailers.
then remembered near the end of the trailer that it was in fact a game trailer not a live actions trailer.
wow, that was pretty incredible
Wait a minute. Why did he stop the execution in the first place!? She's the enemy. Will Ubisoft seriously make us save a known Templar's life?
I hope there's an option to kill her at some point in the game and all the rest of the "Grandmasters of the Order." Because screw Templars.
He's in love with a Templar?
That's kinda interesting in a star-crossed sort of way. Intrigued to see where they'll go with that.
This is probably the romance interest that was confirmed by Ubisoft in an interview earlier. Should be fun!
And....OH MY GAWD SHE'S A TEMPLAR!!
Nice vid but personally I want to see more gameplay. I have always enjoyed the AC games but October is a busy month and am still on the fence about picking it up. Would like to see more info. about the combat as killing 20 guards being the easiest way of avoiding capture is getting a little old. Since AC2 been the same combat wise. Glad they are going back to verticality instead of AC3 and BF where there weren't many tall structures.
Angered Public: WOW! NO GIRLS?! SEXIST ASSHOLES!
Ubisoft: NO, WAIT! WAIT WAIT WAIT! SEE?! SEE?! WE HAVE A GIRL!!! WE! HAVE! A! GIRL!
Assassin Hero saving a Templar Girl, I know where this is going.
Boom Chicka Wawa!!!
p.s. The Golden Age by Woodkid.
I think just added a female character!! After the flack they received for not having one!! Well played UBi!!!
@theteaface only part of the trailer which was stupid.
@geniobastardo Doesn't need to be stealth like for a kill to be an assassination.
@dogbert784 Maybe you forgot about Altair and Maria.... She might not have been a true member of the Templars (IDK), but she was definitely a supporter when the two initially met. And considering this is just a teaser trailer, and we have NO IDEA the real story behind what's going on, let's not make assumptions about where her allegiances truly lie or the truth behind Arno's involvement with Elise before the game has even released
@Chr0noid you mean a pretty templar
@ISxITxSAFE angered public? you mean media making up nonsense attacks
@kazedafinest ROFL! If you think they didn't already plan this character and only did so because of people like you whining, then you are naive. This isn't the first time Assassin's Creed has had a female character.
@Chr0noid Both Altair and Ezio explained the meaning of that phrase. It's not a license to compromise the Brotherhood. Or help Templars.
@gabyjamie @kazedafinest Half right GJ. Remember, Amancio specifically said there WASN'T going to be a playable female character because of budget constraints. If they had one planned, he would have just kept his mouth shut.
This is just a reaction to the bad press. And frankly, I'm giving Ubisoft no praise for it. We aren't even ONE MONTH into the disasterous E3 statements, and they're already trotting out a character meant to appease the discontent? Doesn't this now mean that those statements about cost, about the thousands of animations that need to be redone were complete and utter garbage?
@dogbert784 That kind of rigid thinking is exactly what the creed isn't about.
@Khasym @gabyjamie @kazedafinest No. It means this character was always there and wasn't recently added to appease you lot. Like I said, you overestimate your importance. Also, this character is NOT playable. Do you actually play Assassin's Creed?
There's only one playable character in this game, even in Co-op, you're always Arno. Your friends also see themselves as Arno. You only see them as differently-outfitted Arnos to avoid confusion over who's using who. Capito?
@Chr0noid @dogbert784 Rigid?? Why? Because I don't think it logical that Arno is horny for a known templar, 'saves' her, and expects her to just go along with his ideals?
@gabyjamie @Khasym @kazedafinest Oh, in that case, this is even LESS than a half-hearted attempt to appease the discontent. This IS Ubisoft saying "Yeah, we have this great story for a female character, but damned if we'll let you have control of it."
And to answer your two other statements. First, yes I did play Assassin's Creed Black Flag. And I loved the story. I loved THAT SINGLE STORY AND GAME. Largely, with the exception of that and Liberation, the entire AC series has been forgettable for me.
And no, I don't overestimate my own importance. If Ubisoft wants to flip people off with their games, that's their prerogative. I had some minor interest in Unity and Farcry, right up till they decided to make clear their financial stupidity. Between my PC and my PS4, I've got plenty of games old and new, to occupy my time without giving Ubisoft dime one. By all means, make the same game that's been done for the past few years. We need more AAA developers to go down in flames over rehashing old games.
@dogbert784 lol Altair got a Templar pregnant a few games ago. Assassins have defected to the Templars. not sure why this is hard to believe.
@dogbert784 Calm down bro. We should probably wait and play the game before making rash conclusions. I think we can both agree that this will make for an interesting ride.
