Look at the 1993 screenshot and the 2007 screenshot. It's the same game with better graphics. The only thing that's improved is a more realistic game of football. The only 'big' change I can see was the shift from the side field view in the really early games to the upfield view shown here. Everything else has been the addition of new 'features'. You want to see real, major change? Compare "Super Mario Bros." for the NES and "Super Mario Galaxy" for the Wii. Or "Metroid" for the NES and "Metroid Prime 3: Corruption" for the Wii. Nearly _everything_ has changed about those games, even the way they're controlled.
