MasterSwordXXX, I don't think you quite understand. My Wii is some fifteen plus feet and closed off from my projector screen via closet door. There's no way I can use a non-wireless option. Still, I'd like something that has good range, good sensitivity and long battery life. I don't like the wirelesssensorbar.com option because it looks cheap (at least the old version, I'm not sure if they've improved it since), the Nextronics one is better but has an external battery pack which is not a great design either. The Nyko offering looks to be the best of the bunch, I may have to go with them. I just wanted to know if anyone knew if any of the really cheap eBay items were any good. It's a shame Nintendo hadn't thought of this themselves, there's clearly a market for wireless sensor bars.

Which companies makes the best wireless sensor bar? It would be a lot easier if Nintendo simply manufactured a first-party version, but I need wireless because I'm running a rear projection (onto a 92" screen!), and my Wii is stored in a closet with all my other A/V components. I was looking on eBay, and there's quite a few of them, but if any of them are complete junk, I'd like to know. The only requirement I think I have is that the operating distance is at least fifteen feet.

I check with GameSpot every day for new content and video reviews (which have recently gone 'exclusive', damnit!), but I use a site like Game Rankings to get an idea of the general consensus about a game. For print publications, the only one I really trust anymore is "Edge", which is British and not cheap to subscribe to.
