My question still hasn't been answered about what's the X Box 360 going to get as an exclusive for Mortal Kombat 9? Soul Calibur IV did it with Yoda. I know it doesn't mean Neatherrealm has to do the same thing, but I'm just wondering. X Box 360 owners are going to get shafted? majadamusThe Xbox 360 will get Yoda again. :P

[QUOTE="Bread_or_Decide"]Reviewers should have the point of view of someone buying the game off the shelf by just looking at the cover, playing through it normally, and then coming to a conclusion about that experience.dzimm
And I think reviewers should give enough information so that consumers can make an informed purchase. They can give their opinion, certainly, but at least present enough factual information so that we can form our own conclusions. The problem with the Steel Diver reviews is they don't really tell us everything the game has to offer and strongly imply that once you've finshed the 7 mission levels then there's really nothing left to see, which is factually incorrect.
Most people are going to have made up their minds before beating the game. If they don't like the game and they quit before the end, they're never going to see any of the stuff that supposedly makes it all worth it. Anything that happens after you beat the game is only going to be beneficial to people who actually liked the game in the first place. To give a real example from my own experiences, I knew when I beat Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom that there was more stuff I could do. But I had no desire to do it, because I hated playing the game. Maybe something awesome will happen if I beat the game with the other characters. That would be pretty cool, for those who like the game enough to do that. But they'll figure that out on their own; there is no need for me to seek out and explain post-game content in a game I have no desire to ever play again.Similar to Shadow Wars, I guess. How would they employ the 3D effects in a (mostly) top down game.

Don't worry, there's really no reason why they would do this any time soon. But you know, you wouldn't actually be required to upgrade...They bloody better not i swere. If this happens anytime soon i will cry. I love my 3ds. Why Nintendo !!!!

Thanks. I was kind of going on the assumption that everyone knew which number should go with each subtitle, even though they probably don't. :D Including the North American titles (and therefore the numbers) would have increased the complexity of the list, so I left them out.chapters of the chosen is 4, hand of the heavenly bride is 5, journey of the cursed king is 8 and sentinels of the starry sky is 9
im a big DQ fan and basically for my rpg fix its either DQ or FF

As someone in the U.S., I wasn't aware the European versions weren't numbered. All of the ones we have here are, from the NES to the DS.
- Dragon Warrior (NES)
- Dragon Warrior II (NES)
- Dragon Warrior III (NES)
- Dragon Warrior IV (NES)/ Dragon Quest IV (DS)
- Dragon Quest V (DS)
- Dragon Quest VI (DS)
- Dragon Quest VII (PS1)
- Dragon Quest VIII (PS2)
- Dragon Quest IX (DS)
- Dragon Quest X (Not out yet, but slated for Wii)
That's what we have here in the U.S., how are yours written?
Shidira
Here are the games Europe got, in order:
- Dragon Warrior Monsters (Game Boy Color)
- Dragon Quest: The Journey of the Cursed King (PS2)
- Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker (DS)
- Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors (Wii)
- Dragon Quest: The Chapters of the Chosen (DS)
- Dragon Quest: The Hand of the Heavenly Bride (DS)
- Dragon Quest Wars (DSiWare)
- Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies (DS)
They didn't number Dragon Quest VIII because it was actually the first in the main series released in Europe. They also didn't number the DS remakes, but Dragon Quest IX is definitely numbered.
