Both are great games, but both have their flaws. Xenogears is great, at least until the second disc. Chrono Cross is great too, but it takes a while to get great. Since you're closer to finishing Chrono Cross (and since it takes less time to beat it), finish Cross and then play through Xenogears. But beware the second disc.
At leas it doesn't go the way of wonky controls that plague so many other Wii titles. I might pick it up, if only because I want the extras that the PS2 version got.
I don't care about getting achievements at all. I'd much rather enjoy the game without worrying about how many kills I get in one life. Maybe if the gamerscore actually DID something, then I'd care. Like have a certain amount of gamerscore be redeemable for Microsoft points or something.
