Which to play? Xenogears or Chrono cross...

Few years back i played both of these. Never completed them as for some reason i lost the discs.

If i had to guess i think i did about 25% of Xenogears. Got to the part where you fall down into a underground cavern while fighting in mechs.

With chrono cross i did a fair bit i think. Got past the part where you fight a small red dragon....ummm got to a dungeon where there was box puzzles and got stuck. Thats all i can remember lol.

Now im unsure whats the best game to go back to and play through. I love the music in Chrono but love the Anime cuts in Xenogears.

Chrono didnt have random battles which was awsome but i think xenogears did....

Cant decide which to play.

well first off, if u dont own them and u want to ask which to get, then its definitely xenogears cuz that game is really hard to find while chrono cross is somewhat still on the market.

to play is ur choice. plus u have the whole summer :D

Both games are good, Chrono Cross is the better of the two though. I didn't really find anything special about Xenogears. It was a good RPG, but I don't think its as good as people make it out to be.

Chrono Cross on the other hand did just about everything as good as can be done. The story development for all the charecter was great, nicely detailed environments, and an amazing soundtrack.

It doesn't hurt to play both if you hae the time though.

Well, havent played Chrono Cross (yet)...

but, I just got Xenogears, and I'm already addicted to it.

Other than KH2, it is one of the best rpg game on a Playstation console!

*I know some would say it's too soon to be deciding that (I'm only 1 hour into the game), but its THAT good.

in xenogears you are before %25 of it. in Chrono Cross i couldnt understand the place exactly or i forgot there, but i think you are more than %50 ?

so i think you should finish Chrono Cross first since you are closer to the end.
